Share your (least?) favorite bad voice acting you’ve come across during Dragonflight.
For me, it’s an entire character: Sendrax, the gung-ho drakonid that welcomes you to The Waking Shores. I’m glad Blizzard killed that character early because I seriously would have muted dialog volume if she was supposed to be in for the long haul.

The Aspects. I never feel like they have legitimate emotions, except maybe Kalecgos, and even then it’s less how he feels in the moment and more like he always feels emo. Most of the Aspects are so unemotional it’s unnatural and Kalecgos goes so far in the other direction that I can’t tell if it’s just Kalecgos or actual sadness.
Umbrelskul hands down.

yeah doesn’t change the voice actor sounds whiny on top of a dungeon that already sucks.
Its not bad voice acting per say, but I love the way Raszageth says “POWWAAAAAHH” during her fight.
The only one I sorta went “okay settle down buddy” was Zuri in the evoker starting zone.
The rest are good. But I also liked Sendrax’s old voice so what do I know

The very intro into the isles. That horrible disney BS where everyone is acting like excited 5 year olds because of new things. I get being excited, but the “ooh dragon riders. I have to race them!” Would have been better on the editing room floor. I’m fine with pretty much everything else, it’s standard blizzard acting. That was a new bad.
The RP at the Tree boss in the Academy.
Alexstrasza’s right hand, Majordomo Selistra or whatever. Her voice just sounds so forced and cringy to me, hard to pinpoint why. Especially when she’s downed in Ruby Life Pools and is like, “I’m in charge with protecting these eggs, aaaargh, no!” like, it’s so abrupt and unconvincing. I feel she would sound better if they didn’t try to give her this wannabe gruff voice and just allowed her to speak normally like a female dragon like Alexstrasza.
Yea that majorbozo is really annoying. Especially in the ruby dungeon. I have to lower the volume to avoid hearing he/she/it’s voice
Selistra’s voice sounded okay as a vulpera, but my god the dragon voice (which MUST play EVERY TIME YOU RUN RLP) is just agony.
On the flip side, I love Raszageth for some reason. She barely escaped the Malthael treatment, though.
Valiona in Grim Batol… i get that the orc and the dragon are voiced by the same actor but male orc and female dragon should not sound the same.
Pretty much everything, terrible voice acting all around.
Majordomo takes the cake as the worst tho, insufferable voice.
Shotous to the stupid first boss from nokhud as well, sounds exactly like blackhand / the stupid tank from overbad reinwhatever, i HATE that voice
Sadly i have to play with voices on due to certain sound qs that i got used to.
i should honestly just adapt to my weakauras and disable this garbage.
That’s how 90% of the MSQ make me feel.
But if i really gotta pick something. Chromie in that cinematic.

Sendrax, also the female instructor in the academy with Ichistraza? Her voice inflection is TERRIBLE. She sounds like a really bad porno actress. “Ichistraza bro, what are you doing?” Then there is that Draenei chick fishing in the Azure strand and her voice sounds like shes in a echo chamber?

The Dracthyr banker in Valdrakkis that says “Looking for waAaaAaaaAares” when I click on her.
In truth the voice acting is middling, with no real stand outs (so far), but nothing comically bad. So we wont have any memes like General Husam back in the day. Just 2.5 years of centaur asking me if I’m “good” and demanding I show them my hands.
Oh. I also get irritated by the wishy-washy space-cadet night elf auctioneer (presumed visage green dragon??) who talks about universal justice, and protecting that which can not protect itself. Lady, this is an Arby’s.
So yeah. Nothing heinous. Just a lot of irritating little things. Like the Drakonid’s who say “The Waters flow once more!” What? What waters. Are you a Jinyu? What are you talking about. Stop talking.
