Majordomo is a military rank and there are many majordomos in WoW. molten core, firelands, each contain a boss with that title.
The porno actress in Academy is the worst so far. She really does sound like she belongs in a bad adult film. The space cadet auctioneer does sound kinda bad with the weird lines she says.

Because seriously none of them can act. At all.
Broodkeeper’s son just got murdered downstairs. Her response?
“Rawrxx! I’m a bad guy! You killed my son (growl err) I’m mean rrrrr… rawr… You’re gonna pay!”
That is not what a furious mother warrior whose son was just killed acts like. Part of it’s the script, but a big part of it is the voice acting.
It’s just bad.
It’s like they are trying to be a meme. A stereotypical hokey comic book villain, but even cheesier.
The characters are all way overdone. Take, the orc characters these days for example. In the past, characters like Thrall and Garrosh talked in a deep growl, but their tone and inflection were always appropriate for the words they were actually saying.
Now, an orc will be giving you simple instructions, like where to walk in the tutorial for Exile’s Reach, and they’re all like “WALK! RAWRD!!! It’s TIME to learrrrrrrrnn (menacing voice trails off ominously).”
It is too over-the-top with personality that it actually diminishes the personality of the characters.

Sendrax is the worst, but the majority of the voice acting is quite terrible.

If there was an addon to remove all of Majordomo Selistra’s voice files, I’d download it in a heartbeat.
Razageth is great though, and that Tuskarr lady who says “Great fish gather in droves!” is amusing.
I agree with the sentiment that the voice acting is overall bad this expansion though, and way too cartoonish. Dragonflight just doesn’t feel like WoW; it feels like a game for children.

I’m sure many disagree, but the blood elf who sorta leads the Horde’s intro questline for the expansion, Rivergleam is her last name. Something about it sounds unnatural to me. A few parts I cringed at were the interaction between her, Toddy, and Sendrax shortly after arriving on waking shores, and the world quest where you rescue the marmonis.
Definitely not my least favorite though, that would have to be Selistra.

My problem is when you can identify “voice actors” who play different characters with little or no differences, sometimes totally out of the model. You hear somebody speak and can tell for yourself which other NPC’s that “actor” has voiced.
There’s one guy who has done many goblin/gnome/nazjatar gilblin characters. The fake scottish lady who also does darkspear troll voices. And the worst example, the stewards in Bastion who had those cute chirpy voices? Except for the #1 engineer, forget his name but he was clearly played by the same grumpy old man voice with zero change from many previously voiced characters.
I feel like a lot of the “voice acting” is just “some guy in the office who was willing to do it”.

Agreed completely. I want to like her voice and don’t know what it is or why, but it just sounds off and doesn’t fit at all.
For me, the most annoying are Toddy and Sendrax, and that excitable Dracthyr that follows you around in the bronze dragonflight part of the campaign.

The sad thing is that Sendrax’s voice is great compared to the VA she had for 90% of the beta.

The voice acting of that one mage in the mage tower that is taking the focusing iris power. It’s bad but to the point of being good xD.

The only new voice actor i like is that black female blood elf, whatever her name is. Really nice soft voice.
