Give me your bad lore speculation that COULD happen.
My speculation: We kill Jailer only for Sylvanas to replace him as Arthas is saved from Shadowlands to lead the undead.

Talanji goes rage-happy and drags the rest of the horde into another total war and the rest of the horde council is forced to go along with it due to being allies and recycling the BS reason Sylvanas used to start off BFA.
Sylvanas face-turns at the last minute and we’re forced to team up with her to fight off the Jailer
Tyrande is lost in the Shadowlands and night elves get no resolution. Voljin plays a small part at the start and his story never continues.
Most of the expac is spent saving Anduin/Jaina/Baine/Thrall and the other zone storylines are shelved to focus on the missing faction leaders
A big huge sword is still stuck in the ground in Silithus.
…think I covered all bases here.
Oof…tell me how you really feel, though.
The first part is 100% happening, the second part is absolutely not happening.
You HOPE and PRAY the second part isn’t happening, let’s not give blizzard any dumb ideas they think they can turn into a “Rule of Cool” moment.
calia will become the forsaken faction leader in 9.1
I just add to the bad lore speculation:
We return to a change Azeroth with a huge time skip we have new Leaders running the Horde and Alliance… one of them is Zappy boy and the new Bloodborn…no, Keal’thas reicarnation… er, no… I mean Lor’themar Theron and Thalyssra “Son/Daughter” all grown who is in a secrete love relationship with Arator the Redeemer another new young Leader.
Visons of N’Zoth trick us and we actually died so SL trip was in part an illusion, so while we are away the world is at war with N’zoth Black Empire made real.
And thanks to Sylvanas we have the means to save it but not before Light/Void forge Illidan returns that has eaten Sargeras and has become one… to take the sword that was keeping N’zoth tendrils from reaching Azeroth heart… New spec for Demon Hunters is learn from him that works similar to Overwatch Moira using light and Void to create an explosion of Fel with different FX… to use in battle making the cry for nerfing DH even louder… as DH is open to other Races.
Night Elf can become Paladins, Worgens can be Night Elf, new undead allied race and a New Hero Class is introduce Lich (using Floating Glowing Skeletons as skin for all races) and Blood Mages that can be Void Knights or Shadow Spellbreakers as tanks, use Shadowflame Phoenixes as DPS and Heal with Blood magic, Eredar skin can be use as Draenei, Blood Troll Skins for trolls, Dark Ranger White skin and red Eyes for elves etc… can also be Blood Mages. OR Dark Rangers who use Drusk, Witchcraft and the Fey magic as their spec powers.
Big lore change, Azeroth is more than a titan and its some weird Nexus of reality in the WoW universe like Heroes of the Storm… so they can explain the alternate universe, time stuff and whatever change Blizz needs to do or change on the fly… so the game never ends.
I feel even if this could be fun for WoW players it would probably would upset others too like always…
Talanji will forgive the death of her father Rastakhan, same for her friend Apari “going insane” and never call Jaina a witch again, or for justice.
I really hope this will never happen. The fear exists though.
I’m tired perhaps I can think of something funny another time.
We kill the Jailer only for Arthas to be the end boss, who will claim that he is all dead and speak in different voices like Jailer’s, Kel’Thuzad’s, and his own.
This is also happening but in 9.3, where the Night Elf heritage questline will wrap up the Tyrande storyline by restoring a good chunk of the Night Elf dead and Teldrassil, and the Forsaken heritage questline will wrap up a Calia questline by having Maldraxxus help us fix Undercity and some long questchain that involves going to Ghostlands, Plaguelands, Stratholme, Northrend, and talking to Undead Humans, Undead High/Blood Elves, Undead Night Elves.
Lol
lmaooooo
This is all happening but I foresee Necromancer Hero Class
Any scenario where Sylvanas is redeemed in any way whatsoever. It can probably happen and it’s awful.
Well he did say bad lore speculation… So I was not being serious although I would laugh my eyes out if any of that comes to be true…
The Shadowlands time skip is more severe than what was implied.
Everyone comes back to Azeroth to find out it had been renamed by its newest inhabitants to Aiur.
Begin World of Starcraft
Hmmm, you think this is the surprise they have for us? If this is true I be super surprise nobody is expecting that!
It kinda makes sense… as we get a level squish and Nacromancer has never been a hero class… I hope your right.
Omg Nooo then ill have to drop my main and start fresh new… oh but it be worth it! I always like Blizz take or version on classic fantasy…so it be interesting to see a Necromancer in WoW.
Arthas is a major player in shadowlands (as in the expansion)
ANYONE dead from the shadowlands is brought back to azeroth. Unless something like whatever holds them in the shadowlands is destroyed or whatever.
Calia is elected leader of the Forsaken by Voss and she proceeds to preach her ideals of sentimentality and goodness to the Forsaken until they lose all their edge and become literally just humans with a skin condition.
Tyrande gets villainbatted (In actuality tho, after reading her parts in the novel, I doubt they’re setting this up).
Calia becomes the sole Forsaken Queen.
Baine gets kidnapped again.
Arthas gets redeemed.
Elune is a sort of a sentient space craft / machine.
She is designed with all sorts of “powers”, and even has a genetic experimentation wing / womb where she “mated” with Malorne to create Cenarius. Uldir is an example of such genetic engineering being a thing in this universe.
Her “tear” was important in Legion. It could be a portion of her power source, or exhaust, or something that someone absconded with from her interior.
Anduin is going away with Locus Walker to do Void stuff, and will leave the Alliance to its terrible devices. Resigning as High King of the Alliance and as King of Stormwind, for a higher calling. He will proclaim : “the Alliance is nothing!” - in relation to all existence - and go away.
He will come back way in the future as a master of the Light and Void and married to Wrathion, to help us against the evil Alliance. Like Thrall comes back when the Horde is being mean.
Anduin teaches Tyrande the value of forgiveness and she forgives the Horde without them ever having to answer for the things they’ve done in a scenario called “A Little Mercy.” I threw up a little just typing it.
