so just to point out some things here and the level of trolling that is getting out of hand
lately a lot of spam post and users attacking others by editing post titles over as a way to brake the forum code and harass others.
even with regular posting i see this done a lot.
im not sure a lot will be done about this kinda thing but i do hope community wise we can start to act by reporting when you see this kinda thing. and we’ll make the community here a more friendly place
If you believe someone is breaking the rules report them! Even one report can lead to action against them.
Editing unless its done realy quickly the original.post is still viewable by the moderators and if u flag it before the edit the mods will see the og.

Yes very sure , only takes 3 to hide a post and once hidden it can be reported by anyone else. Has to wait for a moderator.
That’s what I mean. It takes 3-4 to hide a post, so how could one report do anything?
Because one report will still be reviewed by a moderator, and if the one report is substantiated the mod will remove the post and punish the poster in accorance with policy. The only downside is that the post remains live and visible until then.
It does put the post on the Moderator list of things to review. The problem is that you are not really wrong either. The few Mods that we have handle ALL Blizzard forums, not just WoW. Something with one report in a thread with no other reports may fall pretty low on the priority list compared to an active dumpster fire.
However, one report can also sometimes result in action on something if they can get to it. Posts with no reports can even be moderated if a Mod is actively reading through a thread, or a Community Manager is actively handling threads/topics.
It is, at best, a bit inconsistent due to staffing limitations. Our Forum Support Agents are now the Mods on top of their other tasking. Forums are only part of their job and they are not around 24/7 so yeah.

If it was your company sure , blizzard has to navigate a line of just enough to get things done vs way to many people your throwing money down the drain. They have to stay profitable fine line there

Yeah, there’s definitely room for improvement on their part.
what i have seen so far is by the looks of it and the post that has been up for a month now
as well with a cleer total out of line comment tords me has just been hanging there
i feel like things are slipping to the point lot of it is forgotten
