Of course every season. They’re remaking WoW in Diablo 3’s image. Ladders keep even bored players grinding.
I was right about to bring up the WOD proving grounds requirement. Heroics were easy compared to Cata so the Proving Grounds requirement wasn’t necessary, but it helped smooth out runs for the established population.
Maybe they can mix the Premade Groups feature with an instant replace feature that, should you meet the group leader’s requirements, you aren’t told you are declined for every invitation attempt by an automated tool.
Maybe they can go full on LFD/LFR.
But something. Anything, to make content blocking go away.
Stop forcing people to play with you.
Okay, 99.9999999% of people who don’t like raider io feel that way because they are filtered out. Feel better? I don’t care if that obvious reality dismisses the OP’s opinion or if you feel sad that it does.
and sorry Elynos you aren’t worth my time to do that search for you <3 you can believe there aren’t tons and tons of geared alliance who only do war fronts, incursions, emissaries, timewalking, weekly free alliance pvp gear, etc. I don’t really care if you know that is true or not.
Stop excluding people from content.
If nothing else, let me play with AI to Mythic Jaina or whatever.

Making stuff up out of thin air doesn’t particularly help your argument. Though I can’t say I’m surprised. This is coming from the guy who thought I was doing “character assassination” by pointing out that his argument mostly boiled down to creating a lie sentence in poor language. Which it did.
What content blocking? I can invite whoever I want to my group and that doesn’t block anyone from doing that same content. If your solution to feeling like you are blocked out is to steal a spot from someone I would rather play with well I don’t think you’re going to like where that goes. I can’t be kept out of content I want to do. If you can it’s because you are not good enough to do the content. It has nothing to do with raider io especially because without it I still wouldn’t invite people I can’t trust to be good. It would simply diminish the amount of keys that are pugged and would not give you any advantage over the current situation.
Nice try, they tried this in Legion mage tower, and people keep blaming Velen for their failure (when he’s just doing fine, the player just dont know how to not drop flame at him) .
There are loads of threads in GD, including this one, that primarily discuss content blocking.
It’s a common thread and will be until content becomes queue-able or ran with AI.
How does IO reset explain to me I still got my IO Score and my application is still updated what gives ?

It really shows what kind of person you are to ignore someone’s point that is obviously correct and then say not only is it wrong (lol) but they are a horrible person for stating it the way they did (lol). Your season 1 score won’t be updated anymore and your season 2 score is already being calculated by the site. In a few weeks I’m sure the addon will only be showing your season 2 score.
Ahh ok was confused as to why it was still showing season 1 score. I hope it updates soon.
It wasn’t the difficulty that was an issue with WoD, it was the community backlash. Silver wasn’t difficult and took less than 15 minutes if you one-shot it, but still, that was too high a barrier for dungeons that weren’t even as difficult as Cata’s.
See the problem with this logic is that you pretty much never know why you’re declined. I’m a well geared player, I play a class that is pretty good for M+, and I have decent experience in both Raiding and M+, with clearing Uldir and having a score of 1.1k (which isn’t amazing, but more than enough for my weekly 10/11).
But I get declined all the time. Even if I meet the standards set by the group, that’s the bare minimum. Sometimes there’s simply better competition, with a higher score, better spec, or more gear.
And while I’m not the most high-end player in the world, I’m not gunna fake modesty and say that I’m an average player either. If people like me have stiff competition, you can bet that an average player on an average geared character is going to face even stiffer competition.
Because the problem isn’t that groups are too picky. It’s that they have the freedom to be that picky. When you have 20x 380+ DPS applying for your M10, why would you take the dude decked out in Incursion gear?
That’s not content blocking, it’s just common sense from the dude organizing the group.

They didn’t use the AI in Islands and BG’s (8.1.5+) in Legion.
However, something like the Mage Tower would be nice. Maybe a raid or dungeon in Mage Tower format? Not the attempts or Nethershards costs for attempts, but a set of difficulties where you are alone in an instance.
There is no such thing as content blocking.
People are allowed to invite or not invite whomever they wish to do so. If someone thinks you’re not up to par for participating in an encounter, then they’ll simply not invite you and form a group that they believe is capable of defeating said encounter.
If someone goes around and gets such a reputation that they’re blackballed from every major raiding guild, then that is not because they’re being blocked from content, they’re being blocked from the group themselves.

Also Raider IO is awesome embrance it !!! Its helped me get better groups for Mythic plus and Raids back during season 1. I encourage everyone to use it.

You are assuming I have a negative reputation. I don’t.
Why am I never blocked from content? What is the exact reason why this only happens to people who don’t belong in that content? Content isn’t going to be added to the queue and the game will be on its last legs before you are doing anything in dungeons with AI if it ever happens. I don’t think it will.
There are no circumstances where adding m+ to the LFD would be successful. They can’t even have m0’s in the queue or even mythic island expeditions. I love how your dream of getting into content by bypassing players vetting you is, in your mind, a solution to a problem and not the creation of a problem.
I can’t be convinced to join your side that easily.
It will always be a solution. Because being blocked from content by other people is a problem and a common thread on GD.
