Back to toxic raid io

We have to deal with this at the start of every season?

Its not hard to get a good score. I dont get why people dont like it.

Why wouldn’t you have to get a new score every season?

Raider io isn’t “toxic”. It’s a centralized view of your experience in M+ in one easy to read place.

M+ seasons change. Gear levels change with the new raid tiers. We are also getting a new and different raid tier specific affix.

So yes, scores reset and you have to re-earn your score again in the new environment.

It’s worked this way since the start.

And it’s really not a big deal or issue.

You dont have to deal with it, make your own group.

If you see everyone is using io, then you’re the minority, the system shouldn’t be balanced around the minority.

it isn’t really a system of the game though, it’s one made by players. it’d be nice if blizzard had a system and made sure it was legit by stopping sells and boosting…but they like the cash sells generate from p2w idiots buying tokens.

They don’t like it because they’re the people it filters out.

Blizzard designed M+ to be done with people you trust with, i dont trust people with low io score, i dont trust ilvl because of TF.

But its just me, if you trust them, go make a group with them?

other people seeing your m+ experience isn’t toxic

I don’t even know what IO is, I just look at people’s item level.

Where’s the lie though? It’s no different to any other system we’ve had in the past.

Almost every complaint I’ve ever seen from people about setting too high standards, whether it be linking AotC, having X gearscore/ilvl or now IO score, has been because people didn’t meet those standards.

IO isn’t the first system to do this, and it won’t be the last.

“I dont use a relevant score that tracks M+ progression, I use a irrlevant score that is literally obtainable by millions of toons simply being being AFK”

I’m not talking about trusting people. I’m just talking about IO being a system that the players came up with. I’m not for or against it, I just wish Blizzard had their own leader board or something and actually stopped people selling mythic + and raid runs which can inflate an IO score. Logs are usually a better indicator of performance than IO anyways. People are banned for carries in arena, but not mythic + or raids.

Well no, because I got my ilvl by mostly afk, and I’m 373, so all I need to do is add 10 ilvls to my ilvl and I get people that actually put effort into the game.

The reason I owned the first three bosses in the new raid is because I took mainly 380+ ilvl people.

A. No blizzard-made leaderboard will stop selling carries, also you can buy io score to 1k-1.1k max, after that its almost pointless, too long and too expensive.

B. Not everyone logs m+ run, io score is automatically added even if you dont log them

C. Arena carry isn’t banned, i sell 80k gold for every 100 rating everytime.

The pvp, pve or just flat out in general?
Because anythings toxic, specially poison, though overtime poison toxins tend to lessen.

Is that so? Because every time I see AotC being asked I always think it’s sad and I always have it.
As long as you can keep a clear head as opposed to letting yourself drawn in the pride of your “accomplishments”, you should realize it’s a sad thing as well even tho you meet the requirement.

There’s a reason I used the term “almost”. Gotta watch out for contrarians on forums.

And in either case, I don’t believe I gave my personal opinion on whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing. I don’t really care either way, honestly.

It’s just a natural part of any PuG scene where you don’t have the luxury that long-term groups (like guilds) do, in being able to take time, and build up your group.

PuG’s have to get immediate results, or they simply don’t work. And to get immediate results in WoW means you have to set high standards.
