I would level a new character by twinking my way through BG.
Back in my day I escorted a robotic chicken…
I was so excited to finally finish farming rep to get a Netherwing Drake
I was so mind blown to take to the skies for the very first time!.. At 70% speed.
I spent months grinding Wintersaber rep only to have them change it to a two week grind when I was almost there.
Back when mounts were per character and I did this THREE times.
I thought at first that food/water was so expensive (100s of gold) because I came from Everquest, anything related to quickening mana/health was always heavily monetized in some fashion.
Back in my day a Horde player tried to attack me while I was escorting a dryad on my Nelf Druid but then the dryad I was escorting killed him before prancing back into place and continuing on the path
Ahh… BG spam leveling, good times.
Way back, got stuck in a BG with a twink that was just unkillable. I don’t think we had a single heirloom between us, and even when all focused the twink, it didn’t make a bit of difference.
Used to dread WSG when twinks were still a thing.
I remember my twink rogue, stun lock with 2 maces,we were gods lol
Back in my day, you had to go all the way out to Barrens (Horde) or Ashenvale (Alliance) to join WSG against people on your own server. And you zoned in solo, asking over general chat for an invite hoping someone had made a raid group.
The run from Elwynn to Auberdine; particularly through Redwood Mountains. Damn orcs.
Running into Mordent Fel and Stitches in Duskwood. Gd wandering supervillians.
We used to get one shot, people!
Let a mofo try me now.
I used to slaughter low levels in Elwynn whenever I got bored. Then fly away and hide when they called their entire guild over. I’d be right back at it when they left too. sigh good times . I really do miss them pvp servers for entertainment value alone.
I also remember how much of a pain I had getting the Druid seal form back in 2005. No guide, landed in stranglethorn and made the trek through higher level zones getting one tapped. Such a journey and then I never used it lol.
Back in my day I helped find a litlte boy his dog in Mulgore
Back in my day I only played this shaman.
I still only play this shaman. But I only played it back in my day, also.
i remember back in the day raids on the main city were common and the resistance was fierce, so many out in the world epic battles, never forget being part of a full 40 man raid traveling by ground mounts from SW to Org and into the boss room , was so much fun back in the day.
This is your day.
Back in my day there was a gray sword that dropped in northrend that accidentally had no level requirement. I made a level 1 twink that could kill level 30s with it.
Back in my day, Tarren Mill was the battleground.
Back in my day, my druid was an innervate battery in raids.
Back in my day, we couldn’t find Mankirk’s wife.
Back in my day, cat durid is 4 fite.
