This was awesome.
That sounds like a hunter-kite.
We used to kite the demons from the Gate to SW, or the dragons in Azshara to Orgrimar.
Back in my dayâŠLeroy Jenkins was current content
Yeah, they finally took away my âDid Somebody Order a Knuckle Sandwich?â achievement. Also my âWell Readâ
Sounds like Lord Kazzak, perhaps?
I remember those days. I also remember lugging my desktop PC and CRT monitor to my brotherâs apartment to play because I only had dial-up at mine.
I donât miss those days, in-game or out.
Sounds more like a cat burglar that you and your brother let get away.
What are they stealing? Itâs not like Brann leaves anything for anyone else in those vaults.
How would I know?! You were there! âŠnow Iâm wondering if you were an accomplice.
If I was, it was unknowingly.
Yea, I say that too. Never admit guilt. never.
Alterac Valley was hours and hours long. It was pure chaos and I loved it. Raiding was the same way. If you were in a raid you were in it for like 5 hours minimum.
You could do this weird wall jumping thing to get over the gate to Gilneas in Silverpine and get into the zone before they ever worked on it. It was literally just a huge open area with nothing in it. Once you jumped over you had to hearth out because there was no way out.
Epics really meant something. Before BWL landed I was rocking full MC gear and people were like duuuude your gear is amazing.
Of course all the previously mentioned stuff as well. I have fond memories of them days, but honestly I donât think Iâd want to do them again. I donât have the time or patience for long grinds anymore haha.
I like how your name fits perfectly with this quote xD
Speaking of pre-expansion events, I remember the Wrath of the Lich King one where the scourge would invade and give you a disease that would turn you into one and you would rampage around killing your own faction until someone took you down, Was that the same even where the npcs would get killed in major cities? I used to have screenshots of the Stormwind auction house with piles of dead bodies and skeletons everywhere.
Also I do remember going to the Iron Forge airport back in the day.
Barrens chat. The good old days, the peak of WoW.
They need a server with a global chat thatâs just for chatting, and vanilla level moderation. Everyone else who hates that kind of thing can stay on their current server. Retailâs biggest problem is it feel isolating and anti social.
Boomer WoW > Zoomer WoW.
Remember dishonorable kills? Pepperridge farm remembers
They removed the feats of strength? Was kind of proud of well read. It was a pain in the booty trying to reach those books before someone else snatched them up
Night elves did not die a hundred times. There were one, two crocs top. A night elf that died more than a couple times in Wetlands isnât fit to survive. Of course it was on foot, uphill both ways.
