Baby Yoda is cute, but those eyes almost creep me out. And the fact that he has wrinkles. A BABY SHOULD NOT HAVE WRINKLES YODA HAD WRINKLES BECAUSE HE WAS OLD.
Baby Yoda is 50 years old.
He is still a baby.
It’s kinda neat how such a simple design can work so well.
Our brains are wired to see big eyes as “cute”. Our brains go “BABY” in response to big eyes.
The fact that Baby Yoda is also more often a puppet instead of just lines of code it adds to the “ITS SO CUTE I WANNA HUG IT I CAN HUG IT”

There is no such creature as “baby yoda.” Acceptable names are:
- The Child (official name given by the creators)
- Baby Not-Yoda (Yoda is not the species. At this point, it is mostly a meme ( a tired one), and calling it Yoda proves that you don’t know what you are talking about.
)
Considering Lucas never gave the species a name, Baby Yoda it is.

Baby yoda rolls off the tongue better and I know yoda isnt the species name lol
He gave a name to the music played at the bar in the first movie ( I can’t say it here ) but not the name of a species
I oddly relate to that with my own writing.
“Okay so I have this character that owns a night club”
“What’s it called?”
“It’s been 17 years and I still don’t know”
I hope when the Mando takes his helmet off, it will be baby Yoda’s father.
