I have it in the mail for every character over 90. That’s a lot of characters.

And for 10 gold… TEN… I bought a few for my younger alts.

I think the change is awesome!

You and I worked so very hard doing 3 dailies every day for 2 weeks back in Mists.

It’s not like you can just equip the shoes and go about your day as if nothing has changed, oh no. Let’s riot over other people actually having other options instead.

Damn your strider lost water walking? That’s terrible! Mine retained that option, then also gained the options to switch to slowfall mode, anti-daze mode, and more!

Sorry for your loss guys! I farmed the outdated rep too fyi, just like basically everyone else.

Stupid is not allowing the water strider to be exempt from the mount equipment, making everyone happy. And not making the equipment mount-specific. Both of which have been suggested a million times over already as feedback. Ignoring THAT is stupid.

The difference is, your flying mounts still have the ability to fly. They just can’t fly in the BfA zones yet. The water striders have had the one thing that made them virtually unique taken away and optionally handed to every blasted mount an alt has access to.

DOnt forget the 2 person mounts, they are nice.

Havent tested it yet, but if I remember correctly the heriloom newbie mount no one uses after 20 is also anti-daze.

My alliance main is Blood DK for leveling.
Anti-daze - check
water walking - check
mounted speed boost - check
I can add glider - check
Use a two person mount - check
Change to my transmog mount as needed - check
change to my vendor mount as needed - check

I just get EVERYTHING and its NOT overpowered. Just convenient.

No I don’t unless I pay Blizzard to re-activate the account with the character that has the rep.

Blizzard’s change caused me to lose something I had that cant be replaced without a real life $$$ investment.

You only have to pay for it if you replace the first one you get for free (on every 90+ toon) with something else.

Considering you get a free on one every alt 90+ I’m gonna guess you might have some free spares laying around. They are bound to account, so you can mail them cross realm and cross faction.

until next xpac where they have zone specific mount equipment and the current stuff isn’t able to be used and we have to unlock all of it a’la flying style

First, where did you buy it for 10 gold, all I’ve found was 40gold from Nat at the garrison, not going all the way to the wharf.

Second, are you sure on the alts over 90? I did not get them on any that were less than 101.

Aside from that, I might regret bringing this to the attn of the devs, but for anyone who has the anglers fishing raft (toy), it still works…kind of a pain though.

Edited to add, sorry this change is NOT awesome.

It sucks. You can no longer have a daze, and speed, or any combination of things on a mount at one time. Its one or the other or the other.
