Azeroth VS Earth. Who Would Win?

So supposedly thanks to the Jailer, things are breaking down and worlds are merging because of portals. Or something like that.

Any ways, what if this caused portals opening on Earth that connected to Azeroth and due to a big misunderstanding war broke out.

Would the Earth, though technology advanced, survive an attack of magic? Or would Azeroth fall and you can finally live your dream on waking up on Razor Hill?

Earth and it wouldn’t be close. Azeroth would get curb stomped hard, and become a new Earth colony.

You cant compete with modern tanks, fighters, bombers and even nukes, though the nukes wouldn’t be needed.

There is oil on Azeroth, we’d invade it in a heart beat.

Here’s an example of a possible scenario like that:

Idk…they could have a guy stab a giant sword into the planet and pretty much extinguish all life as we know it.

If there’s one thing Sci-fi and fantasy has taught me, it’s that Humans are determined to breed with anything and everything.

As Shakespeare once said, thy would clappeth cheeks.

Azeroth would be ruined.

(Yeah. Obviously Magic wins. It’s magic.)

Well considering we have enough nuclear weapons to destroy our planet a couple times over, I think we will be just fine. But watching a dog fight between some dragons and a couple fifth generation fighters would be interesting

Idk, do the Forsaken still have the “plague”? It could be a good contender and Earth would never see it coming. :grinning:

So Goldshire will now have competition with Reno.

Azeroth has all these things plus magic.

But unlike the Alliance, pretty much every military has gas masks and trained to deal with chemical weapons. It’s not like people wouldn’t notice this green cloud and those plague spreaders and catapults would be no match for guided munitions and tanks.

The only real threat Azeroth would have is magic.

Earth doesn’t have a world soul. Azeroth wakes up and cuts Earth in half. The end.

Clearly didn’t pay attention to half the story.

Maybe right at the beginning the Forsaken and their Plague would have an advantage as people scramble to figure what’s going on. But it would still be a huge blow to the Earth and if they were to raise the dead the Forsaken could just win by sending wave after wave at the living.

Yeah, because killing the undead are so tough right? I mean we do it with melee weapons for crying out loud. I think modern day combat arms wouldn’t have a problem. Just image how quickly a MK 19 would cut down advancing troops (for those that do not know what that is, think machine gun that fire 40mm grenades with a range of 1.5k meters).

Magic is basically the only wild card in the mix. As we really haven’t seen what it’s limits really are in the game context.

We’ve seen the Forsaken aren’t against plaguing innocent people, and as we’ve learned with the current pandemic they will come up with every excuse under the sun to avoid isolating themselves to not spread it further. Just plaguing a few anti-mask and anti-vax folks and it’s over for the general population. They’ll spread it to every store, every concert, every everything.

Again, the forsaken lake the means to plague large areas. It’s not like they have jets that can quick drop bombs across the world. Sure the immediate impact upon civilians would be high but once the militaries stepped in and established defensive lines they typical means of deploying the blight would be useless. I mean even third world countries could destroy a plague spreader or catapult from miles away.

Which side has real magic? Can literally teleport, or create portals? Has access to demons and undead? Tons of mystical beasts?

Azeroth wins, without a fight. Earthlings would simply want to do everything that Azerothians can do. Earthlings would turn against Earth to gain that power.

Further, things would turn out WAY differently, depending on where Azeroth first portals in. If it’s in North Korea, Russia or China, it’ll be immediate violence.

If they port into the U.S., it all depends on which state they first show up.
-Southern state: straight up violence, unless the first person to arrive is a pale person from Stormwind
-Midwestern state: they’ll send missionaries. Violence only if Azeroth doesn’t want to hear ‘the good word’.
-Any other state: That Azerothian has an equal chance to run into a Karen, the kids from Stranger Things, or Officer Ricky. Madness may ensue.

Canada: a peaceful transaction takes place that will better both worlds!

Khadgar alone would dominate all the militaries of the world.

Earth has no shot against Azeroth. It’s not even close.

Depends on if enough people believe it to be real.

I understand the faith in humanity and respect you still having it after the last two years, but I’m really not convinced of general human intelligence anymore. At least not before it’s too late.

Another thing to remember is Azeroth never loses. If Blizzard were the writers of this supposed crossover, everything they WoW characters do will succeed because no one can fail. Plans will always work.
