Takes less time than that at low levels. Equip heirlooms and enchant them then you only have 5-6 slots to fill.

Except everyone will tell you noobs cant/wont enchant heirlooms or cant afford it. Its not “worth” it even though it accellerates your leveling even more than the % experience gain increase that heirlooms give you by making you kill mobs/players much faster.

I’ve been leveling a Zandalari with the occasional bg. To stay competitive I have my looms enchanted and the other gear is up to date.

I really don’t find it fun completely overgearing people and I’m not even as geared as an ACTUAL twink.

I just got out of a bg where a balance druid popped all cooldowns and tried to burst me 1v1. She tickled. Eventually she gave up and we just kind of stood there staring at each other not doing anything. Had to be demoralizing for them and I felt pretty crappy too.

I really want templates to come back. Tired of gear making people either useless or broken. I didn’t “win” that 1v1, my gear did…or their lack of gear.

Don’t you feel that gear SHOULD be what matters in that situation? MOBAs are out there for you if you want balanced PVP. WoW has always been a game about gearing your character the way you want and playing with it. Why do you feel that PVP shouldn’t be that way?

Many people felt that templates neutered any sense of customization in PVP. Did you not feel that way?

Sure, but alienating the few players that still play this game due to ridiculous gear lopsidedness is foolish. Game is 14 years old, the population is spiraling down the toilet. PvP is already a minority in this game, why would you want to make it so people never want to join again?

That balance druid who tickled me is probably not going to join another battleground for awhile.
