Blizzard , so many more people would play the game if it wasnt gatekept by a subscription. Like this thread if blizzard should instead capatalize on cosmetics in the game like mounts instead of a subscription. I want to play the game but cannot afford 20$ monthly. Id be way more intruged to buy a 20$ mount than a 20$ gametime subscription
Gaming is a luxury. If you can’t afford it, you need to take care of your finances first.
This isn’t a customer support issue.
I raely doubt wow will become f2p but edit and move this to general where the dev will see it they wont here or ise the ungame suggeston feature
There are F2P options on the market or box games (you pay once, you play forever excluding DLC).
If I may note, other similar F2P MMO options though have very restrictive options ingame and literally monetize everything. Ingame drops? Monetized by premium. Characters slots? That too. Bags? Yep. AH sale slots? Boom. Etc etc.
If you want to play a very limited trial experience for WoW to become like that I fear for the day it does. It offers a compelling option in the MMO market.
- This is the wrong forum.
- Absolustely no. The subscription is what keeps WOW a fun game, rather than grindy pay to win nonsense. Do you really want to pay real money for bag space, trading post items, loot, etc? That’s what you’re asking for.
Yep, F2P would be the final straw for me, because I’ve seen where that road leads.
Customer Support is not the place for providing feedback or suggestions
If you wish to make a suggestion, you need to post it in General Discussion forums or via the in-game feedback tool by Game Menu > Support > Submit Feedback
No?
Pixels in a game?
Not a CS issue. Put it in General Discussion or offer it as feedback in game when servers are up.
Sure, as long as you buy a new mount every month!
Subscriptions provide a stable revenue source that allows Blizzard to budget long-term for things such as staffing, content and infrastructure. All of this is necessary for the health, certainty and longevity of the game.
As the others noted, this would be better directed towards the Submit a Suggestion option.
