Both specs seem middle of the pack at best imo, if not slightly worse.

I’ve always been of the mindset that we shouldn’t be balancing the ladder around AWC representation 100%.

Are MWs still nuts. Yes

Is ele feral rampaging the ladder because it’s a counter pick into mage ? No

Everything has to be taken into account when determining balance imo.

  • AWC can have counter picks. Those same counter picks could be mid in shuffle and regular 3’s ladder.
  • A spec can be strong in shuffle and mid in 3’s/bad in AWC.
  • A spec can be strong in all 3.
  • A specific comp can be strong with the individual specs being mid outside of it.
  • And so on.

The vast majority of people on this forum are extremely biased and are not even attempting to look at balance from every angle. They just come here to cry about whatever spec they perceive is stopping them from getting to the reward they want and use anything they can find that seems to support their belief at first glance.

Yes.

I think people also lose sight that if you were looking at what comps do well on the ladder, it’s those that are probably in the 60% W/R range where it’s viable into everything to some extent since you are probably qing into at minimum 5 different comps where as AWC, yes, you are probably looking at something to run that is 90% w/r into very specific comps/maps

DK could be the worst spec in the game and people still complain because they hate death grip. It’s currently upper mid of the pack.

There’s currently 8 Fire Mages and 9 Frost mages above 2.2 in 3s

There’s 2 Unholy, 2 Frost DKs, and 1 Blood DK above 2.2 in 3s. Idk what psycho is playing Blood but that’s beside the point.

Theres almost twice as many frost mages as DKs combined and this guy still is crying about DKs in a post about AWC representation.

I turned AWC off. Its just boring. Its rogue mage bnorfest. Everyone knows ECHO always wins with RMx. Its the same boring stuff every time.

Maybe I will pop back when NA starts and maybe it wont be a rogue mage borefest
