I’d enjoy watching one shots more than rmp or lock/mage every game.
One shotteerrrooos make me laugh sometimes at least.
Honestly think about it…Wouldn’t you rather watch something and be like, “wow that just happened…”

I think Team Brain all quit but they didn’t play wizards all that often either. IDK who else notable is in NA anymore
EU is gonna play wizards even if wizards suck cuz they can’t help making AWC as boring as possible. If it isn’t a wizard cleave they’re playing RMP. Either way those dudes love to play 12 minute dampener fests even if they don’t have too.

Ran into them the other night playing wizards, Sterge on R Druid, Jelly on ele, Wizk on Demo.
They’re literally practicing wizard cleaves, RLD, and splay. Along with various DH/Wizard.
EU meta is ele dominated, and NA is slowly creeping into the MLX/Splay meta. Boomkins are our biggest things, but a LOT of teams are practicing DK cleaves & DK/Wizard comps right now, as DK answers a lot of the problems that they’re struggling with.
You most likely won’t see many DHs in top 8, or WWs. They’ll be flavour picks by people like Trill. Evoker/Spri is a comp you’ll most likely see from a few teams, as they’ve been offline qing it.
Also if teams start being heavily boomy oriented, eventually someone’s going to realize that cupid is a comp that eats boomies alive and just queue it.
I don’t think the AWC meta is actually going to be all that awful, it’s just going to be a matter of seeing the first cup for teams to start experimenting with counters.

Presumably by selecting 3v3, pressing “Join battle” and accepting the queue when it popped.

Most likely because esports offers no investment return. And that’s most esports in general. WoW esports especially doesn’t offer investment returns.
