Turns out low dps is a much bigger factor in raids. I’d be willing to bet that’s what held back any guild failing in bwl. Especially on razorgore.

Kara isn’t hard and it won’t be in classic tbc people are clearing it in leveling gear on private servers where the tuning is designed to make it hard.

BWL wasnt hard if you had half of your raid cough Min/maxxing cough. Its not like cough min/maxxing cough wasnt available to everyone. Sorry I have a cold.

Well not everyone likes to min max some of us like to play for fun it’s really not fair to have to minmax to do the content.

You don’t need to min max for anything except for the hardest Naxx bosses and it’s even a stretch to say you need to min max for those. You can still kill those bosses without an optimal raid.

What every raid does need is a Main tank that knows how to gear and consume for every boss. That’s one person out of 40 that really has to min max his character. Even then, with enough gear you can get by with an above average tank. But if you’re main tank is bad, then yeah raiding is going to be a problem.

I hate to say it, but some people are just not good enough. This is the era where they didn’t care if you weren’t. Suck it up is the best advice I can give at this point.

well i guess it might be the nerfed version of karazhan that will come out since they will pick a latter patch to base the whole expansion.

They said specifically that they would go back and make bosses pre-nerf even though it was 2.4.3 patch. So its Kara and everything else prenerf based on what I heard and read.

if the guild couldnt kill razorgore, id hate to see about the rest of BWL let alone AQ or Naxx. that guild needed to disband for the betterment of everybody.

Your guild was pathetic if they died from failing to kill the first boss in BwL. I will say Razorgore is a big difficulty spike but he isn’t hard at all if your dps can kill Ragnaros without an intermission phase. Just have a tank pick up adds in each corner with hunters kiting if you get behind on adds near the end of phase 1. Also some addons will screw up the UI for when you control Razorgore so make sure that is sorted out.
