We need black and asian gnomes

hello I love the new added races to the humans that are come in the shadowlands expansion, we need black gnomes and asian gnomes though too gnomes are my favorite and I would love to be able to customize them more! than we can right now, thank you. bump this thread if you agree

Would be nice. To get more skin tone variety like the dwarves. My dwarf monk appreciates the darker skin tones and tattoos.

It would be nice to have character customisation options, in general. And the various Human customisations I’ve seen look pretty good. But I don’t think anything will be served by simply repeating those customisations for other races. Let each race have its own unique customisations.

Gnomes are from European mythology. Tired of seeing myths being bastardized because of muh feelings.

And? Representation of the sort you’re referring to makes sense for Human characters, but not so much for other races.

Inclusiveness is good. Uniformity is not. So, we have Humans with black and Asian customisation options. Fab! And we’ve got other races/allied races with customisation options for various dark-hued skins. And we’ve got Pandarens that embody some Chinese cultural traits. This is all good.

But to just churn out the same black and Asian customisation options for all/most races goes beyond inclusivity. That becomes, in its own way, homogenous again. That isn’t how to do representation and inclusivity. Instead, each race/allied race should have its own set of customisation options, and maybe a few of these could be based on an IRL ethnic group. But I think it’s possible to go overboard.

Gnomes in the wow universe come from mechagnomes. And metals have all sorts of earthy colors. Heck there are supposed to be sand gnomes as well. More tanned and darker gnomes are supported.
