Currently 1 Hr 43 min in queue, in an Average wait time of 13 mins queue.
Is this normal? Never experienced wait times this absurd in alliance. I realize it’s low level queues but wow. Also this is not the first time i a have had waits like this since going horde. What gives?

With 8.1.5 there were some changes to the brackets, Xpoff characters have been separated from the general population. sub 120 ofc.
Queues are now longer, as you can see from some older posts.

I waited over an hour yesterday and then had to get to work. Had some time later in the day and just played my Switch instead.

Queue times have always been 10+ minutes for Horde. Hopefully the updates over the next couple days will have a fix.
They need to give more incentive to pvp. Removing twinks is a good start. Bringing back pvp gear would be nice.
It’s way more than ten minutes, for everybody.
Or, you could go do something else…
…no, let people who want to pvp just to pvp play.
Blizzard (and stupid children) GROTESQUELY underestimated how many twinks there are that actually fill up these que gaps… now you just have an unplayable BG system as far as leveling goes. Blizzard imagined it was like 10% twinks and 90% levelers… it was actually more like 65-75% twinks and then some trash filler needed to make BGs pop. Now the twinks are gone, and BG pops are at a place that makes using them to level just slower than ANY OTHER OPTION you have as a player, by leaps and bounds.
This is what happens when a company does not do proper research and makes a gut-based decision to patch a problem that did not exist… and caters to the worst segment of any game’s population… whiny disgusting children.
The wait time is only going to get worse. My Zandalari is sitting at 90% win rate in lower level battlegrounds, and this is AFTER twinks were removed. The alliance is going to discover soon that the only reason they had a chance in lower level battlegrounds were the twinks carrying them to victory. Without twinks, the Alliance levelers are going back to graveyard camps in every battleground. This is especially evident because most twinks played Alliance for the faster queue times.
Now as Horde, we have a few weeks before the Alliance levelers catch on to this and stop queueing again.
Blizzard does not understand their own game, that is just how it is.
What if in pvp stats were identical per each class? Then everyone can play with shorter queues.
I will gladly wait and quest now that the ques are separated.

This was tried previously. It was without a doubt, the worst time for PVP in WoW history.
I just don’t want to do any pve. Fix the pvp gearing system.
Only levelers are in bgs now. They don’t stay in a bracket long enough to gear up. What purpose would pvp gear serve to them?
As an alternative to acquiring gear via PVE. A leveler can gear up doing PVE to get stuff, why not do it through a method you enjoy more?
still happening in 2022 sadly.
no alliance has short que times but a greater chance of being in bgs where the imbalance is so bad, it’s actually comical.
just left a wintergrasp where the top horde had over 240 hks and the top alliance had just over 20.
alliance spent the bulk of the bg without the ability to get any vehicles because we all had so few hks. only once the bg was completely out of reach were we able to get demolishers or siege engines.
that may have been many things, but ‘battle’ is not one of them.
here’s a wacky thing - i didn’t re-que.
imagine…
i wondered if horde bg ques would make it to 2 hours - now i know.
