Looking to see what the average ban appeal wait time is?
My roommate was banned and submitted a ticket 7 days ago. Got the template response that night. My roommate re-opened the ticket requesting further review that same night but has not yet heard back.
Maybe a future ETA on the website would be helpful like there is in game for tickets.

Sadly, the appeals team don’t have an ETA. The best we can guess a few days, but they work on their own time table.

Im 95% sure apeals are a week atm.

If their appeal has been escalated up for a deeper dive into the data, there really is no ETA. It’s just however long it takes. I’ve seen someone else mention they were also at about your friend’s wait duration so your friend is not alone in their wait.
Just to touch on this bit - there are no GMs on the forums at all. The Blues you see active on this forum are SFAs. They try to offer what insight and advice they can, but it’s never a guarantee if or when one will pop into a thread.
Unfortunately for your friend, it is a waiting game at this stage of things. If you don’t mind me inquiring - what was the reason for your friend’s sanction? Was it under the cheats/hacking/botting category? I only asking because while sometimes things are pretty black and white (i.e. language/behavioral/social sanctions), others can be more complex and can take longer for the appeal to process while GMs go through all of the data again.

Each account penalty and its circumstances are different, so there is no telling what information the GMs have to consider for their investigation.
Also, completely off topic: OP you may want to… reconsider your name, or your friend may not be the only one waiting seven days for an appeal.
You can self-report the name if you would like (hint, hint!). It will be reviewed by a GM, and if it needs to be changed, the GM can flag it for rename. Blizzard looks much more favorably on self-reports than when other players report your name.
