do you ever stop and think that ques might be longer for horde because they tend to do a lot more premade groups than alliance? Do you think maybe that if more horde would just que up solo that maybe your ques might get shorter? When you cue up as a premade the bgs are setup to first search for another premade to put you against, you know balance. Only after a long que will the search finally give you a match against a bunch of randoms. The randoms were looking for a game against another group of randoms not a stomping by a premade so they tend to just let the premade win to get into another game. The more the horde to premades the less the alliance will que up. Your faction is killing off BGs because to you winning is more important then trying to do a few quick games of BGs. I like winning as much as the next guy but if I see the ques getting longer and longer perhaps its time for a change in tactics, que less up in premades and just go have fun once horde.
Yes, there is mention of some horde beneficial changes. Ibgy fortified, more fwrh guards added, gy positioning changed (w/e that entail), and both sides cave rezzers moved further from the cave portal. But nothing is said about a cave reposition until a BC patch on link below or wowpedia. I just like to make sure our historians aren’t spreading false information.
classic wow’s pvp is pretty much done im just waiting for classic tbc.all thats left in classic wow is one night a week raid logins which equals a dead game.
In what way does it favor horde?
If they were really your friends they would reroll with you.
Classic (and vanilla) don’t match premade va premade.
and you lose every game
lets see, what’s your wait times for AB and WSG if they are 25mins for AB and 45 mins for WSG then yes it balanced Alliance just don’t Q as much
Look on the bright side- nobody’s going to be repeating the mistake of going Alliance on pvp servers in TBC, so this is the shortest queues you’re going to see in AV from now on, enjoy them while they last.
While I sincerely hope TBC DIAF. Since Blood Elves are so OP you are probably right
One of two things happens after Naxx- either Blizz says ‘this was successful, let’s do another’ and does TBC, or they say ‘this was a failure’.
If they deem this a failure, that may mean no more TBC but that also likely means no more anything classic related, including the potential of shutting it down.
There its a third option and that is classic+. Some of my guild mates have heard they were hiring classic developers. You do not need a lot of developers for maintenance. I think its been very successful, more then they thought.
Because it’s a BS story.
I don’t think you should get your hopes up for that, it’d require a full team to do something like that and even if they could, it’d be a team with the retail mindset- it simply won’t be what people are hoping for.
Also- that’d definitely require them to consider this a massive success, and if it’s that good they may well do TBC.
Factually incorrect. Other bgs are competitive. AV is the only one that’s abhorrently Horde-favored.
Imagine if you will having such blinders on that you can not even conceive of one side having a clearly huge starting advantage as this guy. Being able to take SF gy completely uncontested is rather large, being able to then setup a defense to cover all entry points to the FG gy is even bigger. Finally being able to pretty much setup an ambush any where in the whole mid part of the map before the other side even gets to their last GY is very tactically huge. If the horde just ran full tilt to met us they we get at our captain bunker at roughly the same time as the alliance does. Please tell me again how the map does not favor you. Please give me more anecdotal evidence of your horde winning percentage in the other BGs, because my experience in the other BGs is that we win more but that’s just my perspective. The one thing that gave us a chance at winning like 1 in 4 you baby horde cried about it and blizzard changed it now no more premades for alliance in AV. Now you baby horde are here crying about you long ques. All we are asking is for the horde starting point be push back to the bottom like they had in vanilla AV and you act as if that would be such a crippling factor as to change it to a 100 percent win rate for alliance. Admit you have a huge starting factor and stop thinking you are the great pvp faction, you are not.
pugging AB atm and have well over a 50% winrate it’s way more balanced map wsg was around 50% wins too. I can’t stand how zug zug these horde players are if / when classic wow av is fixed they will regret the day of all this gloating.
yall just went horde
