AV queues nearly 2 hours now after NA split

Yea but you’re a Paladin so no one would cares about your pvp que times.

cope

I played in vanilla, queue times were not bad at all and there were far less people on each server. Maybe dead servers had problems.

That’s not the case though, people play alts and redo the rep grind again.

You’re a scrub if you rely on AV for rank. AB and WSG is for that.

I was on admittedly a little early this morning, 6am before work, but there was literally 1 AV going even with cross realm and the queue was 3 hrs 45 min

Strange, I never have queues at any time of the day- maybe you’re doing something wrong.

I am doing something wrong apparently.

It was choosing to to play a video game with my real life friends who had already picked a server, faction, and classes.

Never too late to swap!
Think about it - instead of wasting hours in queue, spend that time leveling up an ally to 60.
You’re already missing out on half of the game.

Just reroll/pvphappenedonapvpserver/getgood

Yeah sure why not.

Playing with RL friends is for suckers.

Why would anyone want to do that in a video game?

Your RL friends enjoy waiting 3hr in queue?

Some of them don’t PvP so they don’t care?

And no one wants to throw away 5 months of progression just to start over.

You still wouldn’t que, and you’d still lose. And you’d find something new to complain about.

The map isn’t that bad.

The GY rez order is wrong an d needs to be addressed though.

good… that means the overwhelming majority of players have a job and a life.

PSSSSSSTTTTT hey champ… no one forced you to wait 5 months.

You want your pvp, roll alliance. This is vanilla wow, there is no such thing as progression.

History lesson for you.

The horde tunnel was originally moved up because Alliance overwhelmingly dominated av in vanilla, and went on to dominate it for YEARS of retail’s time line. Your faction’s problem had nothing to do with the tunnel, and everything to do with your faction just being defeatist at AV.

It’s also not the only bg to have skewed win /loss ratios… Hilariously one of the most “imbalanced” maps in the game’s history from a faction win /loss perspective was actually Strand of the Ancients (dramatically favoring horde in win/loss), despite the fact that the starting position was random, and both teams had to play the map from both sides.

TL: DR you alliance don’t lose av because it’s imbalanced. You don’t even lose an because you guys are bad. You lose av because your team just rolls over and accepts the losses every time. Your faction literally dominated that bg for a full decade with the map exactly how it is right now.

TLDR - I still think Horde and Alliance play style is the same as it was back in 2006.

Scorch earth was discovered in TBC. Alliance boycotted the map and got the cave pushed back. The version of the map where the Horde cave made sense was a completely different version then what we have now.

For your history lesson could you link this patch note for horde cave being moved up? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

Pretty sure it was moved up(if it was moved up) before they completely revamped the map and cut out like 1/3 of it as well as a bunch of other changes they like to ignore when making that claim.
