AV queues nearly 2 hours now after NA split

blizz you dropped the ball on this. Last week we were hovering around 50mins to 1hr per queue, now we’re touching 2 hours. Please address this issue so that queue times are reduced. There’s really no good reason for the battlegroup split just for the sake of not confusing people regarding BG weekend times. There are better ways to approach that issue.

Have you tried Queuing as Alliance? It’s almost instant for me.

Imagine the wait times if bgs was server based.

Hopefully it goes up to 6 hours.
Maybe then you’ll advocate for a balanced map.

Until then enjoy your queues.

This is a pretty silly comment. The queues artificially rose because of blizzard’s mismanagement of the time zone split, not because of bg issues. Blizz isn’t going to redraw the map. They can, however, fix the problem they made themselves by reverting the NA population split.

I was thinking they should split it into 4 battlegroups.

Regardless of the fact that there is insta queues on alliance. If you do not have a premade, it is not enjoyable pvp. Horde are so hungry for pvp they give everything and try to draw out games, alliance pretty much think it’s faster to lose quickly and hope for a better chance next game.

I’m guilty of this as a casual pvper, but at the same time insta queueing into premade after premade isn’t my idea of pvp either. As a result I just don’t pvp unless it’s with 5+ premade other wise it is not enjoyable.

The only way this gets fixed, when more people stop ranking, or quit playing. Sadly horde queues just gonna get longer.

Move that horde cave back and maybe ally will que again, until then enjoy the ever rising que times.

Just swap Ally so you can have instant queues and always lose.

Then complain about always losing instead =P

Okay, so you’re a troll. Will ignore as appropriate

My actual response though OP:

It’s a horde created problem that got worse with a blizzard created resolution.
If you all didn’t stack Horde for ez mode we wouldn’t be in this situation.

It’s a relative participation issue primarily, as evidenced by nearly instant to sub-5 minute Horde queues for the first two weeks of AV.

I agree with the concept, I’ve done some guild premades for WSG and they’ve been fun. I’ve been sucking up the queue and farming gold/consumes while I wait so I deal with it in my own way

That’s probably the best bet. I do the exact same and also have a second account I work on my Ally toons on in between.

I’ve never had to wait in que to PvE.
Life is great.

More people from both sides may have been more interested in pvp if there were rivalries and revenge. Server only bgs would also forge respect across the faction line. Nameless randoms do not encourage these. Not saying the queues would be faster, but the bgs would at least have meaning and a reason beyond rep and grind to queue up.
