AV queues - i have to say it

Majority of people who like to PVP rolled Horde, Switch to Alliance to help balance the PVP out or just wait a few days to get a BG.

Your proof ???

Who even bothers with AV anymore? Those ques are just not worth it mate. WSG/AB is the new meta.
PS: LOL at all the b. hurt allys in this thread.

When blizzard made the changes to premades i was honestly STUNNED.

  1. alliance win ratio was not even that staggering.
  2. I had been in near full premades that lost to horde pugs if we didnt cooperate.
  3. thats what it means to win as ally in AV 99% of the time, you need to FULLY cooperate just to beat a horde pug.

I have no idea why blizzard caved to the horde whining.

blizzard needs to own up to this mistake and revert EVERY change they made to AV. then maybe alliance will come back to it and horde will have shorter ques.

give us back premades so we actually have a chance to win.

OR FIX THE MAP

How it was in vanilla is 1.5 version which is different to what it is now tho.
Plus, alliance was the bigger faction more often, and bgs were formed with only people from the same realm.

‘reroll or quit’

Scorched earth was also not used in vanilla. Horde didn’t even know the strat existed. That was figured out in tbc. Classic horde know the strat all too well. Vanilla horde did not.

Map is straight up busted no matter how much horde say otherwise.

i know the map is crap, im just saying this isnt the AV that was live for the longest part of vanilla, theres way less npcs, bosses, even black lotuses.

I understand that and agree, but people who say “alliance won in vanilla” aren’t taking 15 years of history playing the map into account either.

That’s what happens when people ask Blizzard for changes: everyone’s experience is worsened.

You mean the thread created by “b. hurt” horde?

And what evidence of any kind or in any form do you have to back up what you have said?

“everyone’s experience is worsened” Ok…You have absolutely no historical evidence for this because since the game has been re-released, no changes have been outisde of sharding for realm pop issues.

Like, you can’t honestly make comments like this thinking you have made a good point. You haven’t made any point. Nobody knows who’s experiences would be worsened and who’s would be bettered. It completely depends on the change.

Except it was, the 1.11 map which is what we have was around just about as long as the first version and longer than the second version. And that’s if you only count 1.11 and 1.12 if you count all the way to reinforcements it was around longer.

This is simply not true. It was common knowledge that a horde turtle would increase the chance for a win but the queues were quick enough that both sides would PVE race.

Yes after horde tried doing exactly what they’re doing in classic, scorched earth, alliance boycotted AV and horde queue times spiked. Horde in retail figured out not to do that if they wanted reasonable queue times, horde in classic seem a little slower to figure it out.

The boycott was in tbc. Horde did not use the strat until then so all these players saying alliance won in vanilla are ignoring that little tidbit.

If alliance boycotted scorched earth in tbc and a large portion are not playing AV in classic for the same reason, you would think horde would have got it by now.

It doesn’t work that way. Alliance players who are queued up aren’t waiting for more horde, they are waiting for more alliance. Let’s say there are 55 alliance and 110 horde in the queue and a game starts up. There are now 15 alliance in the queue and 70 horde in the queue. The next AV can’t start until some minimum number of alliance players are available. If that minimum is 35, then the next AV won’t start until 20 more alliance queue up. The most important thing isn’t how many of each side are currently in the queue, it is the flow of new people queueing up. (https: //en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Stock_and_flow)

Lol the horde are responsible for this problem, they ran so many alliance out of the game with toxic private server tactics as soon as honor started.(yes some alliance like Asmongold and his cronies had a hand in trying to destroy the game experience for the Faerlina horde but overall the horde drove more alliance off of servers/out of classic than vice versa

It’s the map.

Private servers weren’t running this version of AV
