My horde and alliance queues are pretty much the same for AB, which is the only one I ever run. I never bother with AV because allies always lose it and horde have two hour queues lol
Alliance have been doing better as of late - especially on the holiday. I win like 1 in 4/5 on average outside of the holiday and usually hang around the .500 mark if not a litte more on the AV holiday. Youre also going to spend a lot of queues getting dumped into no win situations but again, as a rogue, my fav class, its not hard to make AV fun for yourself even if its just one token. Some gold farming opportunies as well
The queues make up for all the bad where I am concerned. Plus, beating the horde in an alliance pug feels amazing. Most games are tough wins and you really feel like you earned it.
I feel like in AB I win more than I donāt maybe 60% of the time solo que regardless of faction. Feels fairly even but each side has its advantages, and when I am playing Alliance I preference not seeing priests or shaman, and when playing Horde I preference not seeing Holy paladin or human anythingā¦ Perception is so OP, they make me pre-vanish, it annoys me.
Iām not sure exactly how they do it but I imagine since thereās only a couple AVs going at any given time, 15-30 Alliance queueing simultaneously on a countdown will instantly open a new game. This would work since Horde are always waiting to enter a game. So as long as thereās 30-40 Horde in a queue, new games can be forced open with premades in discord.
Blizz enforced a minimum 3 min queue or wait for alliance so it would be harder for them to organize premades. Its unfortunate but we couldnt be trusted with a more open system.
Or keep it how it was in Vannila??
You can overwhelm that system easily with the small number of BGās in action. This is why its possible without any sort of trickery.
Irony is this would not be a problem if the map was so imbalanced, there would likely be a lot more players involved and so more games in progress making worlds harder to get a group que goin.
Hey man Ive been lobbying for Blizz to bring back AV premades. At least let 20 queue. Something.
Thatās the biggest issue.
Fix small stuff in AV, remove pre-mades which all happens much later, so youāre making changes that eventually happen.
Then 1 side has a 90% win rate but donāt change the cave rezā¦ok Blizzā¦
The boom cycle for pvp has come and gone. My hope is they allow it again when TBC drops. Be nice if it was next weekā¦but thats probably not happening.
Will be announced in Feb at Blizzcon.
Well its ironic how disorganized horde players are, at times theyād rather spend 20-30mins in a wsg just killing people over trying to actually win the game
I meant allowing premades in AV. People are premading anyway.
In tbc it was even easier, they actually made an addon for it.
Ques you all up with 1 button and shows who got into the right games.
well for all you horde players out there here area few tip to help you win:
use invisibility potions to sneak past the alliance players
make a kneel macro to fool alliance into thinking you placed a hunters trap on the ground.
Send one hunter to the alliance cave to stall them
set up a āmeat grinderā at the alliance cave to kill them all
rename your wolf riders to ram team 7, they automatically win the game for you.
Did I miss anything?
These sound so familiar!!
You forgot āGIT GUDā
You forgot they need to find the right place to die. Other than that, I think you covered it.
imagine having to cheat to win a battleground. could have posted this back in phase 2 also by the way. oh the daysā¦7 min losses to alliance 100% of the time.
i donāt play AV anymore anyway but iāve heard about this cheating occurring. interestlyā¦is anyone discussing how magically the map is fine and alliance are winning?
There should absolutely be 40 man premade queues, and they should be forced to play against other premades.
Imagine have a 30 second head start and claim the other team is cheating.
