See pre-mades are good for everyone
Yeah, I quit queuing for it - looks like a lot of other folks are doing the same. In another day or two I think itāll be the Allies getting the waits and us being instant. On the plus side ABs are ridiculously easy now. Thatās my new go-to.
You need a map advantage in order to que???
Makes sense.
Truly astonishing when you play both sides you can see just how damn crazy imbalanced it is. THOUGH I will solidly point out that Horde priests and horde healers are in general just vastly better in PVP and Alliance healing often kinda sucks, nah its worse than that, may as well just bring more DPS in most casesā¦ Not even kidding they are that bad. At least on the horde they know that Priest is the best healer and even the Spriests on Horde will at least throw you a bubble or dispel occasionally, Alliance side you may as well use a bandage or a pot because thatās as good as its gonna get unless you have a miracle BG with a healer or two whoās brain is attached to their spinal cord.
Oh, this is just rich. Utterly delicious, even. What was it, something like, āgit gudā? Yeah, I think that was it. Enjoy your queue, and simply play to win!
Seems like alliance having indeed been getting good in AV.
TRIGGERED
Admit itā¦ like 99% probly like 99.5% of the PVP healers are terrible on a level that I could not formerly imagine. I thought retail alliance PVP was a rough experience, but they play like experts by comparison.
That is not the experience I had in ABs. Even ret pallies will BOP me when needed, and most holy paladins do too, as well as keep me alive when I am focused. AV PuGs are different. AV was not pvp in PuGs but AFK contest.
Perhaps its just a rogueās experience then. I quite literally almost never get heals, and its not like I am having troubles being globaled or anything, I actually have excellent survivability.
Lets be clear (obama impersonation), I am talking about pugs, not premades.
And thatās exactly why good healers will not focus on keeping you alive.
IMO, a rogue should not be in the thick of the fighting, but solo/in small teams being opportunistic. When I heal in a group fight, I prio in this order: myself, other healers, warriors (for mortal strike), mages, warlocks (tongues is cancer), hunters, rogues.
I find myself not getting many heals as a Rogue on Horde side either. But also Iām popping vanish and what not so Iām in and out of the fight a lot, which may account for some of it.
itās probably just because you over committed and youāre out of range of the healers and they donāt want to step up itās just your out of position
I think a lot of times rogues tend to be out of range to heal as well. You guys are often nailing healers and ranged in back and if the friendly healers get too close then theyāre often in range of melee.
Horde side the priests at least throw me a bubble or renew, and thatās usually enough.
I donāt usually end up taking tons of damage, but instead am focused on when applicable locking down healers, and preventing enemy casters from doing their jobs. A single dispel / bubble or renew would be super niceā¦ LOVE ME DAMNIT!
Behind enemy lines horde side yesā¦ Not often that way Alliance side because Horde casters are far more bold. Then again the horde priests are usually also in the thick of itā¦ Strange its always the shamans that sit back horde side.
A single renew triggers the global cooldown which is the same time it takes to cast a flash heal, or much better yet in a team fight, a max rank greater heal with madness trinket. I will basically never cast a renew in a big group fight, because I can literally heal a warrior from 0-100 in the same time instead (if I crit).
I play both sides. The imbalance is the horde play a tighter game which is probably impacted by queue times that have been ridiculous in comparison to their alliance counterparts at times.
Thatās a keen observation, and likely contribute to the āI want to winā attitude, though there is no shortage of players being toxic horde sideā¦
I stopped doing AV on my horde because I dont have the patience - the horde made it easy for me because I couldnt handle the in game whining in chat when the alliance burned a single tower or killed all our LTs while weāre gonna win anyway.
Alliance side the queues are short and the games arent boring if youre a rogue. Yeah you lose more but you dont feel it because of the queue times.
