I’ve seen the bridge + alliance cave used properly all of 3 times in classic AV.
And every time even when the horde heavily ourgeared/level the alliance we could not pass without ice daddy.
1 of those 3 games alliance won with a stealth offensive squad that snuck south and killed our boss.
The other 2 times the alliance properly killed ice daddy summon attempt before the summon multiple times. Before horde started to afk out and we lost after 3.5 hour match and a 2 hour match.
Alliance have map advantages, you refusing to use or acknowledge them doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
Mind you most games alliance have never bother to even try to use their map advantages. And I’m not the only one who has seen the bridge+cave used properly. Another person mentioned them turning The GY before the bridge into a meat grinder after horde hard capped it. Which is how it should be used…
But hay, you not using something means it doesn’t exist right?
It shows how strong of a map asset alliance have that is very much comparable to the horde cave. But I guess you don’t understand how the map works well enough to understand that both caves give very strong advantages and you are still 100% ignoring what alliance have, being to tunnel viskoned on what horde have. But hay, we already knew you were severely bais.
ok take a time out and go sit in the corner for 5 minutes.
I was talking about the strength of the horde cave and how it makes capturing IBGY very difficult for alliance. You come in and start spewing a bunch of stuff totally unrelated to what I was talking about and come at me with the
I am sure somewhere inside your head what you said was completly relevant but to the rest of us it wasnt.
Alliance bridge makes taking the most important objective in the game very difficult for the horde when alliance actually use it.
The objective that ends the game.
You can skip hard capping ibgy and win as alliance. Its not the best option very often, but doable. Horde cannot skip the bridge and win. They have to cross it.
There is no more backdoor. If alliance chose to use it, they have the best choke point in the game.
So no, I won’t sit in a corner, do not treat me like a child that has to listen to you when you have shown to have extreme bais against the horde simply because your own team has refused to use their own map advantages 99% of the time.
99% of the time the alliance never bothered using the bridge…
Even in this very thread you have alliance being talked about of how they would afk under the bridge to leach honor and let the horde win.
The horde have one very strong defensible position due to cave respawns. So do the alliance. Its not the maps fault one side has refused to use it most games.
But hay, the map will always look like it favors the horde to you, because you ignore what your own faction has because your to focused on complaining about what the horde have.
Are you going to complain that your neighbor has a cheese burger and potato wedges for dinner when you have a cheese burger and fries?
So I took a break from the game, I come back, and the Horde have stopped playing defense, the new meta is a race, and Alliance win 99% of the time. This is hilarious!!!
Horde play defense about 40% of the time, more often at night than in the morning.
When horde play defense there is often a fight in battleground chat about it due to some horde wanting to PVP and others wanting to honor grind and not have a turtle.
Alliance keep rushing south regardless of horde playing defense I’ve seen.
Ally premades are sort of back but not as much. It is a fight with the pugs who only want to rush, even at night when horde are heavily defending. When the premades can get enough on board to fight mid instead of rushing Drek they still do really well. I play both sides.
In either case, TBC is coming shortly which means the AV map also gets updated to the move the cave back.
So if alliance premades going for marks of honor to get free R13 gear then they will continue to win.
If alliance is filled with afk/bots and low levels also trying to farm those marks for easy R13 gear, then they will lose.
The cave is entirely moot and has literally never been a deciding factor.
If horde goes back to winning 99% of the games in TBC, I can’t wait to hear what the new excuse is.
Should the alliance premades and wins 99% of the games, I can’t wait to sear the salty undertones of sore winners bragging about smashing a bunch of randoms, and how this is somehow payback for phase 2 for the injustices zug zug mudhuts did to their dwarven and gnomish ancestors for daring to kill afks.
AV is an endless salt mine, TBC won’t change that.
Even when we get a “premade” it’s rarely more than 10. Last time I did an AV premade, there were 7 of us and alliance pugs were hellbent on rushing Drek so we just played the backcap game and killed lieutenants and commanders. Holding the bridge isn’t even a thing unless you want to give up all midfield honor to stall a 2k win.
Guess we’ll see how TBC AV goes, but going into it with the Drek or kek meta doesn’t bode well.
just reply to one or red’s idiotic posts and you will get hundreds of replies from him telling you how to win AV. We can still hit 10K if we continue to mock his strategies.
