AV Cave Rez situation

It is a very very simple question, should the cave rez be addressed.

Yes or no?

You really have to admire this bridge troll’s tenacity in sticking with its deflection tactics. It is like a wild dog latched onto a haunch of meat. It is like a savage crocodile dragging its prey into the water. It is like a shark smelling blood in the water.

Your analogies are both heart warming and terrifying.

Listen, lad. I built this kingdom up from nothing. When I started here, all there was was swamp. Other kings said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show 'em. It sank into the swamp. So, I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So, I built a third one. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp, but the fourth one… stayed up! And that’s what you’re gonna get, lad: the strongest castle in these islands.

Almost everyone who has contributed to this thread horde and alliance has said that the cave res order is an issue on the horde side and should be changed. You are in the 1% who is still in denial about this.

It should be changed on BOTH sides. Your ridiculous bias is showing again.

Both teams have a point in the game where their respawn power becomes considerably stronger than the enemy teams because of the cave. Alliance can actually have a theoretical 30 responsibility per 30 seconds where horde is only 20 from their cave. 30>20. Do I view this as unfair? No, I view it as both sides have different advantages and disadvantages that even out through the map. Does it offer an unfun possibility of being the better team but having a struggle to overcome the cave respawn mechanics for BOTH factions (even if alliance have refused to use theirs properly for months, don’t know if that has changed in the last week)? Yes it does.

I don’t think the cave respawn is broken as it is now in terms of balance, it is bad design though in terms of fun as it can make the games super long (throwback to the days long AVs).

Both teams have their cave power spikes that must be overcome by the enemy to win, but it’s not fun to play against it when the enemy team is properly using it. That’s why I think it should be changed. That and to prove a point that the cave was never the issue, because the map was not the issue. It was player attitude. Just as it’s player attitude that changed the meta because que times went down drastically.

Yes it should be changed for both sides, the difference is the cave rez for horde is a major issue the cave rez for alliance… not so much.

Windar, how does it feel, having your very own personal troll, running interference for you?

Yep anyone who points out how your hypocrisy is trolling

But 30 is greater than 20!

Alliance not using their cave properly doesn’t mean it’s not strong.

“Hypocrisy”

No Zyrius, not just anyone. You specifically.

LoL horde stopped trying harder after a week of getting stomped by premades. At this point I just figure they’re getting ready for TBC since we’ll almost certainly be getting 2.4 AV which fixes the cave rez.

They already confirmed it will be the last patch for TBC.

This is some fist-pounding, pants-peeing hilarity right here!

Too many posts…a little time later after the premades occured from Alliance.

I guess the cave was the issue after all.

Only if horde use it to defend IBGY, but anyone with a brain would know that. In a race game, IBGY is insignificant.

Tbc forums are up!

Good riddance!!

Only this thread was started to discuss the horde cave res issue and how overpowered it is, nothing really biased about sticking to the point of the original post.

Come on you can troll better than that.

this is because you have never faced the horde cave res at IBGY as an alliance player. Had you ever attempted to take IBGY you would know this unless your in a premade or a heavily stacked alliance team of course.
