Right, but I am saying that the number of things that would cause one to think “there is no reason to stay here” is far lower when you have a 2 hour queue. Losing SHGY wouldn’t be an auto /afk Horde side. There is a high likelihood Horde would turtle the bridge heavily. Not because we are better mind you. We aren’t. But because we waited 2 hours for the game.
Yeah, that’s what I mean though. The goal is to hold it and sneak enough by for offense. A full scorched earth strategy would stop this. I am not suggesting Horde would be any more successful at it. I am suggesting Horde would be more likely to do it and fail even though the game is longer.
And that might be the case early on, after a few games of losing SHGY, then proceeding to get junk honor/rep over a ~45 minute loss horde would simply stop queuing.
Half the team was defense, half the team was offense.
The alliance couldnt even get thru the gates to get into RH.
Eventually north took everything but waited for nothing to cap, so they were all in on Vann, meanwhile alliance retook aid station and spgy so if they wiped we would of been in trouble, but they killed him.
We won a very close game where we were out ranked by alliance.
