But that’s not alliance forcing horde to do anything, that’s simply horde choosing not to use their auto win strat.
Horde can afford to let SFGY or IBGY soft cap alliance cannot let SHGY soft cap.

Because they don’t need to, they can afford to let IBGY soft cap. In fact it’s even advantageous to let IBGY soft cap then come back to it as they are now rezzing at the cave in larger numbers.

it’s not though because then their rezzes are twice as far back and they risk losing SH if it is held for any significant amount of time and the alliance become KILLERS
And worst case for horde if they lose SHGY is the game gets reset, unless alliance are just vastly better than horde.
But being vastly better isn’t a strat, it’s RNG at match making time.

looks it’s an increadibly dynamic battleground where anything can happen
you can sit here and imagine any possible outcome where the alliance gets beat this way or that way.
or you can just play AV and try to have fun.
A few won’t defend SHGY if horde are serious about taking it.
SFGY and IBGY are not priorities for horde until SHGY soft caps. So sure you might get lucky sometimes and horde don’t take SHGY but it’s not you forcing anything.
the horde are so used to the zerg SH meta
once you take that away from them the game gets a bit uncomfortable for them
they are still the Horde, and they still know how to play objectives, so nothing comes easy.
