Have I? The only BG changes I’ve supported was disallowing match number.
Funny thing is he mentioned someone who was in one of those wins, and the person said there was no strat the horde were just terrible.
So he doesn’t have a strat which is actually why he doesn’t say what it is.
It is the art of fighting without fighting. It is like a finger pointing directly at the moon. Don’t concentrate on the finger or you’ll miss all that heavenly glory.
Then maybe just maybe you should stop bragging about a 5% winrate that has nothing to do with you and is just you getting lucky with terrible horde teams.
What we know so far:
you win very infrequently.
you claim to queue for AV a lot.
you claim to have a strat, however will not say what it was and someone who was in one of your games said it does not exist.
you claim this strat is what lets you win, yet that same person just admitted that you only won because the horde were completely outmatched.
So all this leads to you just getting lucky and hitting the bad horde teams because its Pug vs Pug and most of the queue is full of alts/casuals so it stands to reason that they fill teams will a large amount of these players. So yes there will be games where the Horde are 3x worse than the Alliance, and those are the games you can win.
I mean if you wanna brag that you are causing wins when you are not, go for it.
But really all it is is that you do not seem to grasp how randomness works.
also might wanna look up confirmation bias and the phrase " counting the hits and forgetting the misses "
not going to track my wins/losses, don’t care that much
not going to share my strat on the forums at this this time
my wins and close games are becoming more frequent, and I am having fun. That’s really all I care about.
Idc what a forum troll says that doesn’t play AV and just gets off on chewing people out on the forums
I really hope Blizzard changes the map for you, I really do. But either way I don’t care.
That should be enough. But you also support changing the honor gains for spawn camping and single pulling Drek and Vann.
I’ve been lurking this thread for a while and from what I can infer is that most of the wins come from forcing horde to make a choice between IB and SF and not letting them deathball SH. Divide and conquer. Problem is that this has to be done fast and coordinated. After getting them divided and on their heels, some people still have to recall and defend or it will be a loss due to how quickly matches go after SH falls.
This isn’t a strat, this is just what the alliance do every game, and scotpollard just claims the credit for beating bad horde teams
It’s not a question of forcing horde to do anything, he’s simply getting lucky occasionally when horde don’t take SHGY. The correct strat for horde is to push SHGY hard then go after any alliance south, there is no counter for this short of alliance turtling at SHGY.
I mean you’re not wrong, but you’re not right either.
Well you force them to make the choice to continue zugzugging SH or to defend SF or IB.
Do I? Got a quote?
To be fair to Scot, he does make proper calls. He got enough on D to keep their stealthers from capping DB and pulling ahead. He also made calls to D SH, unlike others I’ve seen who tell everyone to rush IBGY. He told everyone to move when it was time. And so on.
It was organized, but it was not a magical strat, and it’s something we’ve all seen.
This morning I won my second AV and everyone was pretty much doing the same thing. These matches had one thing in common: the Horde were as dumb as rocks. We lost the next match, again doing our best, but the Horde weren’t completely brain dead.
That’s almost accurate. Alliance must also be at the top of their game.
Scot does deserve credit for taking the lead and calling the right plays. Even so, Alliance can play like Gods and still lose. That’s the sad part about all of this.
Hence the bias and reason why people should ignore your wins, if you don’t wanna give the context there is no point to them.
You DO NOT HAVE ONE.
see:
wow seems like you just got proven to be a liar.
and the truth comes out.
For what he doesn’t say anything that isnt common knowledge as you just admitted.
oooo i’m such a liar, how bad of me
my strat, that isn’t a real strat, is common knowledge, and only slightly better than “all turtle SH” or “all rush IB GY”
congrats on cracking the code.
you would think that you would encounter a “really bad horde team” more than 1-5% of the time.
Well it seems to be defend SH and if the horde suck push to win.
which is what happens even if there is no one calling anything out because that is how the map works.
in a Pug vs Pug you can get a better team then the Horde close to 50% but to get a team where you are 3+ x better than the horde that is when you get to the 5% part of the bell curve, which is about the winrate we see, odd how stats match up with reality… its almost like math works.
that is brilliant. carve that on a stone and hearth out of here.
