this new ignore all the towers charge the boss kite the adds strat needs to be stop. please do something to prevent this, so far its turned every single AV i’ve played this weekend into a turtle except 2 which we lost in 5 min but they keep trying it every single game!!!

I used to love AV until the meta became ignore everything in the entire match and bum rush boss.It’s by far the weirdest experience that I’ve done in BG’s, and I wouldn’t complain if it was “sometimes”, but the fact of the matter is its every game, and I noticed it prones more anger and hostility towards each other in the BG chat.It’s a shame that the playerbase had to ruin AV, AV is at its peak during vanilla if it wasn’t played the way it was now like a bunch of weirdos.I hope they do something because AV is an unpleasant BG to do right now.

you get no honor though. killing towers then winning or losing is 4k+ honor and takes 10-15min. last boss rush i did i had 48 honor at the end.

It’s been this way since 2019.
People just kite the ads while everyone kills the boss.
They need to make it so ads actually give meaningful buffs to the boss such as reducing damage taken.
However the issue is that there is no reinforcement limit so doing this can cause turtle games to take ages which nobody really wants.
Overall old AV is just a terrible design with major flaws left and right.

So nobody is avoiding it.
Without question, the best possible game design talent is charged with overseeing WoW Classic. And if those brilliant minds cannot solve the riddle of making AV enjoyable for Le Moderne Gamer, then assuredly nobody can.
This has been the stale meta far beyond 2019 unfortunately, even private servers did this.

I’m playing druid. If I want to actually get into fights with people, WSG would be griefing. It’d be cool if I could actually have time and reason to roam and get into team fights or 1v1s in AV 
Yeah, but at least the allaince don’t have to worry about arrows, NPC, or warmasters since they can just exploit them.
IT’s what hapen when blizzard jsut get’s lazy and uses 1.12, funny how they gave REATAIL the OLD OLD AV
