I have a new phone and no way to access the old one.

Anyway, I’m trying to access my authenticator app but my authenticator app wants me to click approve on my authenticator app to access my authenticator app…

How do I fix?

Typically you’d backup the old authenticator, its restoration codes or remove it beforehand.

If all these options are not possible you’d need to go to this page and go through an optional method like SMS protect or otherwise contact support manually to remove it.
