Whenever I log into wow I am greeted with the box to enter my code. I have the Authenticator for my android phone with the one-button, but I still have to type my code in when logging into world of warcraft.
When I log into my battle.net account it send code to my phone which I can approve, but not when logging into wow. Is there a setting that needs to be changed so I don’t need to type in each time I log into WOW? Thanks!
In your battle.net app click on the logo on the top left, settings, in the app section, make sure both remember login emails and phone numbers and keep me logged in are checked.
Let me know if that helps at all, I’ll look somewhere else but I believe that’s how it gets you to login automatically when hitting play without going through all that.
Yes that’s all checked. I don’t always start wow from launcher sometimes I don’t even have it on my pc running as I have the android app. I just wanted to know if there is a one-button click when I’m logging into WOW.
No - in order for you skip logging in is if you use the launcher. Opening WoW manually will have you login each time.

Yes I know that but the one-button doesn’t work for logging into wow?

That will popup if you open WoW any other way than hitting play in the battle.net app. If you are using the app, this would be best posted over in technical support so people who know more can look into it.
OK thank you for your time!
To clarify, I am talking about the launcher on your desktop when I say battle.net app - not your phone’s app
Yes I knew.
I made post in tech support but i doubt I can use the one-button for logging in.
Just to confirm, Elite is correct. Bnet uses one-touch authentication, so when you log into the website or the launcher you get the push approval on your mobile device.
The launcher uses Single Sign On and passes your authenticated credentials to the game when you press the PLAY button in the launcher itself. So you do not need to enter your authenticator again.
If you are launching WOW directly - for example, using the WoW.exe - then you are not using Bnet to log in and will be prompted for the authenticator code. Logging into WOW directly will not use the push / one-touch method.

There’s a launcher option to shut down the launcher once the game starts - just in case you had an issue with the launcher running all the time.
