That’s already too harsh. So from now, most of the groups will have the same name - e.g. “Sanctum of Domination Heroic” ? I already see a lot of groups with the same name, where is the ‘diversity’ that you are trying to promote?
What about those that don’t have a phone, a phone number or that are just not able to ‘secure their account’ with an authenticator?
well if you are a real person why don’t you have an authenticator, I imagine most people do - so no not all groups should be the same.
The fact that you are comparing a virtual authenticator with being a real person made me to stop the conversation here.

well it seems to have fixed the spam problem so far so I guess you will have to survive
Yeah I guess I’m probably done making groups? I don’t really understand all the workarounds and my phone is kind of a piece of crap so I can’t get an authenticator set up.
it appears the group finder may just be totally broken though - i tried to make a group for the world boss and it just cancelled it

Save a picture of your authenticator key and you can just reinstall it on a different device. At least that worked when i took a break for a few years.
It seems very counterproductive to set up a security thing and then immediately circumvent it by putting a picture of the key on my note discord XD
