Authenticator issue

So I have the Blizz phone app but for w/e reason, when I got a new phone, it reset my “stay logged in” option. So now it’s asking me to approve a login with an Authenticator. But I dont have access to it because my phone wont allow the log in as mentioned. And when I try to log onto my PC to access account information it gives me the same request to access my phone blizz authenticator. My hearthstone app and such the same. idk a way around it when I can’t log in to access my authenticator.

Any tips/tricks?

When you got a new phone - did you restore the app, or just reinstall it?

If you just reinstalled it, that’s not the same authenticator and the old one will need to be removed.

As far as I know, I restored the app.

But sounds like It would be safer to just reinstall/remove my old authenticator. But I can’t log into my account to do so.

It can be removed for you via a ticket and the new one readded yourself.

It’s a little more complex that way, but can be done by a GM - not through self-help if you no longer have access to the old one.
