So with the mass disconnections 8.1.5 is causing me, I noticed that when it dumps to the login screen, it asks me for an “Authenticator code”. What is this? Where do I get it from? My Blizzard authenticator app on my phone doesn’t respond to it.
When you open the authenticator app, select enter manually.
Mine automatically detected log ins once and hasn’t since.

Your ip address probably changed.
That is when mine usually pop up.
Unless it is for my kids’ account, then it is usually because I am driving and my kids lack patience and fail to understand why I can’t just do it quick on my way to work.
That would be strange. Because that would mean my IP is changing almost every 15min. And I haven’t done anything to change it.
Not sure. Maybe the glitches are forcing it to recycle? My knowledge is fairly limited. Sorry.
X out of the login screen, then reload the game through the launcher. It should just automatically log you back into your character screen.
I know if I get disconnected for any reason, then retype my login information it asks for the authenticator too.
Yea, that’s what i’ve been doing since the authenticator generated codes won’t let me log in either: "We couldn’t log you in with what you just entered. Please try again. (WOW51900314).
