Authenicator requests / account security

I was conducting an audio recorded interview at this time of day and put my phone in airplane mode when recording the interviews to avoid interruptions. I am fairly certain these login attempts were not me.

I would add this information to your ticket then, Sat. Perhaps a GM may be able to look further into the login attempts.

My ticket response linked to a bunch of articles I have identified the issue still needs to be sorted and written another ticket attached to the original ticket. Since this post i changed the email address on my account again and my authenicator reported someone trying to log in just now. I have declined it. Last time this happened it took a month for me to get my account back. I have wiped and reinstalled windows on my computer and changed email address / password on my account multiple times now and this continues to happen.

I am not convined this is a computer issue as my WoW account is the only thing being hacked and targeted. Nothing else such as other games, email, bank stuff etc has been attempted to login.

Any help appreciated please

The issue before was someone had entirely too much information about you and your account, Sat.

While this can be gained from Malware - it can also be gained from social engineering.

If you truly reset your computer, that really should rule out most things - at least on the computer. Phones can also become compromised - but it sounds like you already know that.

That leaves one potential that is even harder to grapple with - social engineering.

Does ANYONE else have your new email? Anyone at all, even someone you think you trust?
