Wombats, and a kookaburra flying mount and I’m sold

I think all those giant spiders in the game are a nod to Australia.

Did Chinese people like Mists of Pandaria?

Or did they find it offensive?

The background music would have to sound like this

Hey, I think I found the login music for that expansion!

As an Australian… not sure I agree.
I mean we already have expansions people complain have sfa and nothing in them…

Not every country has the toxic identity politics of the US to be offended at homages. MoP was very beloved in China and was an expansionary boom for Blizz.

Shadowlands exists.

It’s full of death, creatures that would kill you if they could, and Blizzard gave up on making food for the most part that’s relevant to the expansion, and there’s a desert of no content.

It’s… essentially Australia.

Convicts were sent to America, too.

Where we ride in the pocket?

Ha, little do you know. Our deserts look nothing like the Maw. They are far prettier, and much deadlier.

The Indian Pacific train travels across the Nullabor Plain, and if you were to leave the train unnoticed, you’d be dead in a couple of days. At most. This land of mine takes no captives.

Blizzard would probably love that, they would only have to make 1 zone.

Ardenweald, then.

Hmm, Kakadu, the Aussie version of Ardenweald. A place of dreamtime legends, beauty and terror intermingled. And don’t go swimming in the river, because these saltwater crocs we have are unforgiving of mistakes.
