I disagree. I believe that Aboriginal culture could be recognized globally. Here in the US, Native American myths are commonly talked about in social study classes and we had a few movies that detail NA mythology (Pochahontas). Native American mythology is so iconic that WoW has the freakin’ Tauren for inspiration.

I think we should have Kangaroo people for Aborigines.

I mean, if we’re getting into animals, people always only think of the tropes. Koalas, Kangaroos, Spiders, Dingoes. Maybe Crocodilies.

Platypus, Echidna, Quali, Numbats, Marsupial Moles, Bandicoots, Cassowaries, Kookaburra, Sea Dragons, and several others also exist.

And if you add NZ to the mix, everyone only thinks about Kiwis, but there’s Weta, Tuatara, Moa (it’s fantasy so why not bring in the extinct ones), whole hosts of birds, etc,

Although knowing Blizzard, they’ll basically end up creating an offensive caricature of Aboriginal people or Maori.
