Ok yep that’s a bit of a steep jump in price but i understand… It’s to bring AUD in line with USD as Blizz is an American company.
However…
If Australians are going to be paying the same amount as Americans we should be getting the same quality service… How about fixing the little things like -
- Correcting the Server times (In game calendar Events are Currently incorrect for Australians)
- Server lag Home/World pings for Battlegrounds are often Shocking! 10-14ping home but 100+ world pings are common for most Aussies
- System notifications/Announcements in PDT rather than GMT Time on the Battlenet app and in game.
- Accurate Day/Night Cycle’s for Oceanic Servers!

Been playing WoW for YEARS and will continue to Enjoy it but maybe look into Little Things as they add up… just like the Price Hike

American players actually have to deal with that too in the event they get sent to an Oceanic server. I can’t argue against your other complaints though. Equal pay should mean equal service. But with the battleground thing, only solution would be removing AUS from the America groups. Which would likely make you have much longer que times.

Just a thought for you, so that this doesn’t blend in with the billions of other topics on the price hike, maybe think about changing your title to something about suggestions to make the oceanic servers better or something? Don’t have to, it’s just a thought if this topic doesn’t get much traffic.

They really should locate some servers in the AU region to help off set your ping and adjust the game to your time zone.

Couldn’t support this more - if we’re going to pay more, give us equal access to content as NA. The day/night cycle has been an issue for years; it’s time for Blizzard to ensure that we are also valued customers.

Dig the new title, now it reads like a youtube click bait title. If nothing else it should help you get it more views. If you are serious about this topic it could help if you got some support from a big streamer or a twitter group. Exposure is important.

There is nothing blizz can do about ping to American servers, it’s a physical limit in the speed you can transfer data. Evening else however is valid.

It’s a pity this thread keeps getting buried below the tears of other threads on the issue but do not offer any real argument beyond “I don’t want to pay the same as America” hopefully in the coming hours this thread will get more people involved in it.

Dude soup is now an extra $2.50 at my work cafetaria now while it was included in the lunch meal pre-covid. Im paying a lot more in soup money than you guys are in sub. Just relax.
and us Canadians been paying $19 a month for sub for a while now. Welcome to the club.
I tend not to think they should be accurate. Rather some type of 21 hour day with 8 days in an azeroth week. That way all players get a variety of night/day play.

Should? No, you get what you bargain for. Australians need to bargain better, or get more players in that region to voice their frustrations. How many Australians are voicing their frustrations over this, a hand full? How many Australians are negatively impacted by this, all of them?
I happen to know that Australia isn’t real. The kangaroos and road runners are cartoons.
