Australian Dollar Price Changes Equal Pay, Equal Access!

I don’t think this game is worth 15/ month now with all the time gating and RNG.

It’s value increases upon content drops, and substantially decreases upon content droughts.

You think we have a Choice as to where and who we Queue with? This is one of the Problems we want fixed. we dont want you Laggy Americans in our BG’s either.

As for “you get what you bargain for. Australians need to bargain better” What Great victory have you Gained with Blizzard? with your incredible negotiation skills?

There is something they can do, they offer a choice of oceanic only, they can improve their group finding algorithms.

But a laggy American is still better than any Australian… these are just facts.

I think you’re completely missing my point, and I’m on your side here. So, go gather your friends, and have them gather their friends, and collectively make your voices heard and maybe something will happen. Or, you can argue with me… poorly.

Equal pay IS, you paying 20 aud a month, if the USD price is 15.

It would actually be higher, 20.3 at the moment. And then an extra 10 percent right? You guys have a GST that applies to service charges I believe?

Throw in currency exchange costs, and you pay far less than us.

This is EXACTLY my point if we are Paying the same as everyone else we should have the same Quality of service…

Aussies have higher median income than Americans, You can afford to tip Blizzard a little more. :money_with_wings:

Ok yep that’s a bit of a steep jump in price but i understand… It’s to bring AUD in line with USD as Blizz is an American company.

No Problem paying the same as (almost) Everyone else. Just asking for the same service. i don’t think that’s unreasonable…

Ah, my bad. Misunderstood this as another “I don’t understand exchange rates” post.

The day night thing is a little weird to me. Are your server times not set to oceanic times?

It’s not possible to make this game worth the $15 a month it requires, unless Blizzard could provide service and content equal to a new AAA game every four months.

But yeah, you right

years ago they used to have the correct times day/night cycle but after Pandara reverted to Random times.

To be honest with bfa as it was this pre expansion event the story a mess and how shadowlands is looking…they should be dropping the sub price for all. This games loosing the justification to still be $15 a month.

Yet my sub payment goes to France, for reasons known only to Blizzard accountants.

We say the same thing about y’all. Until you find a way to circumvent the need to traverse undersea cables and have instantaneous information transmission then this will not change.

i feel this in my SOUL! can we get some Star Trek Interwebs yet… PLEASE

That may not be possible but I do feel like public internet is still a rather young technology which has a lot of time to improve. Provided there is people researching how to do so.

The best that can be done at the present is use what we have and remove all old tech and non-direct pathing (a layman’s approach at this).

For me to connect to Cali from Texas I have 35 ms. I have a striking feeling that could be lowered to the upper teens if inefficiencies were removed.

What? Prices are not identical in different countries halfway around the world? Seriously? I’m stunned!

No, wait. I’m not. That’s normal. Yawn.

Sorry, but anything with the word “better” in it isn’t a fact. It’s an opinion.
