August 19 Beta Build 35598 - BLUE POST and spicy tooltips

I didnt realize it did have a CD. I am uncertain if it would be a problem like that. It is reliable every once in a while, not all the time. That pull might be an immediate wipe. Many factors go in to making it work, and if the content is already on farm, whats the matter?

There’s a chance it becomes hostile mid pull right? So a chance it becomes hostile and decks a healer?

Things that Blizzard could’ve done instead of this nonsense:

  • Give warlocks the ability to speak demonic back
  • Warlock stables
  • Green Fire on Demon Bolt
  • Baseline DG/infernal

Yes.

I dont know, enslave used to draw mad hate, i think it comes after the warlock then healers

I’m just failing to see the upside. As others stated, either the damage is negligible and it’s fairly pointless, or the damage is worthwhile and we can only use it on a few pulls per raid night and there’s a chance it actually causes a wipe.

That second part is what warlock was built around. Risk vs Reward. More power at the cost of a potential wipe.

I dont dislike this. But it needs to walk a line, especially since it has a time limit and sacrifices a party member. Maybe make it uber powerful and the sacrificed member gets to “drive” it?

But if it’s a risk just for the sake of risk and doesn’t actually push us ahead of other specs, how is that a fair tradeoff? “Hey I’ll do slightly closer damage to the fire mage, but I have to kill a party member and waste time oh and also it might cause a wipe. Cool right?”

This is not feasible in modern wow if the risk is to the whole group rather than the warlock

it isn’t!

Yeah i was meaning if it was “extra” damage and not an equalizer. The idea i had to “drive” it would be neat if someone brought an alt and helps bring them to a nominal damage level, but people not being able to play their class also seems bad… though a timed duration and limit balance that… hmm

I’ve made countless threads on this

where is this? I need it

Ritual of doom could have being changed for a cooler thing than this =/

scroll down to uncategorized spells

Blizz honestly should just give us back permanent Doomguards and Infernals.

Blizzard short handing us Warlocks again? Whats new?

While summoning a Doomguard that could cause a wipe does sound funny as hell, it’s still the most idiotic change they gave us yet. It’s like they aren’t even trying with us anymore.

Ritual of doom is great addition to the warlock toolkit. The more spells warlocks get back the better. OP seems to only care about the mini games at endgame and fails to realize this game is an mmorpg. Hopefully they change their mind on recklessness and bring back curse of shadows and elements.

Most people dont care about mythic plus or raiding.

Yes, that’s totally what I care about the most, that’s why I created a compilation thread for Shadowlands feedback that’s 12 pages on a google doc, a thread compiling “Warlock stables” idea, and another thread for Warlock Stables of my own creation that fleshed out a proposal for 5 pages.

Bro shut up lmao

It’s dumb as hell. Useless in any content, and not even “fun flavor” you can use solo (sacrifice a nearby critter or NPC to summon the Doomguard), and it’s DPS is also useless.

It’s only good for griefing low level players

Ok you just proved you’re a troll who cant accept people have a different opinion than your own. Then you attack someone too. Grow up and check yourself.

Except that they could of been giving us actual meaning stuff in our toolkit, not clown mode abilities. More doesn’t always equal better by the way…

Is this real? I mean… it has to be too op for pvp.

Sacrolash’s Dark Strike: Corruption damage is increased by 15%, and any target affected by your Corruption also has their movement speed slowed by (15%) 60% (changed from 15 to 60, couldn’t add a strikethrough)
