Support class man. Can even have it be thematic. Like tauren get war drummers. Gnomes get some kind of electric keyboard. Humans get a banjo, elves get a flute or a lute. (Kaldorei / sindorei) … etc.
Then you can have them train with other cities bards to learn that music style for class transmogs.
And have daggers or something as a MH weapon for questing purposes.
Yeah. They made the game. It’s not like I can do it for them. They opened the can of worms by doing a spec. You can have it be like priest in the sense that priest is the only class with two healing specs. Bard can be the only class with two support specs. (maybe one healing or dps spec to even it out if they can figure that out in their dev brains)

I wouldn’t be surprised if they do one for next expansion, seems to be a lot of piratey theme mogs coming out.
But in a game like WoW, I’ve never seen bards or support classes as interesting or enjoyable. Don’t get why people want bards in this game lol but that is just me.

The only thing that Aug proved is support is a half baked idea that shouldn’t have been thrown into WoW haphazardly before 1-2 years of testing and tuning.
Also the obsession with bard shows such a lack of imagination. WoW can come up with much more interesting ideas with its lore.

It was delightful in LotRO though.
If memory serves there was an interface that let you actually hit notes to make your own songs.
I’d still rather have Tinkers first though, personally.
That sounds horrible to me. LOL
Lol it was just for fun, the abilities worked just like normal MMO button pushing.
Granted I basically installed LotRO, futzed around with a few classes then unistalled it, so take my praise with a hefty helping of salt

Admittedly I don’t really get the appeal myself. Is the whole idea behind wanting support classes for people who want to be carried just because them existing makes them required, or something like that?
