Yes they did!
In such a scenario, I think you can create a ticket and petition a GM to give you a few hours or 1 day of game time.
still having my auctions/gold disappear into the nether. sold 60 F.E.A.S.T.s today and they sold but never got the gold
Checked all three characters that have had auctions disappear since the patch. Still nothing. My husband is cancelling his sub when he gets home as the only reason he plays is to level characters and make gold. Since the major way to make gold has been disabled without warning, why bother.
Millions lost, mats just rotting in peoples bags, a new raid drop and some half-hearted platitudes. This is a fabulous way to keep people playing your game.
So, the blue post from 15 hours ago is from the EU forums. Iâm not sure that it applies to us or our servers. Itâs been more than a âfew hoursâ since the servers went live and the missing gold simply hasnât shown up. We still need an update for the Americas and Oceanic.
Youâre right, Jibrille. The Jan 17 hotfix notes said this was fixed, but it isnât. Still canât filter battle pets by âUncollected Onlyâ, Blizzard.
Pretty sure blue posts in the EU are mainly just relaying what the NA Blues said at an earlier date so it probably wasnât even a real up to date update.
In the same boat. Itâs a bummer I got gold in limbo.
Iâm reading plenty of angst here and Iâm not sure all of the hostility/impatience is completely about the the lack of gold/mail but more the lack of information from Blizzard on this fairly serious issue. I donât have any faith in âJust trust us, weâll get your mail backâ; you have to understand the bug to be able to define the universe of who (and what) all is affected. Compound this with a hotfix and a patch later and still no word addressing the issue other than: âWeâre looking into itâ does not do much to soothe the soul. The helplessness of hope isnât an easy thing to wear in the open. Iâm disappointed they had a Patch Tuesday and said next to nothing as far as an update.
Tomorrow we are going to log in. The auction house NPCs will be gone. There will be a big disco ball at the top of the room and REM âThe End of the Worldâ will be playing.
Break out the drinks bois, it is time for the final DANCE PARTY!!!
After 20 years of lag, Y2K finally hitâŚY2K20.
I sold for about 250K today annnnnnd i received nothing at all jeeez
@Kaivax
It has been a few daysâŚany update?
Sold item. Gold is visible in mail box click itâŚwont collect,
Well, at least you can see it. So thatâs something. Wonder if itâs because of the race youâre playing? At this point Iâll consider anythingâŚ
This is just a recent sale
I believe commodities are whatâs affected. My pets sell and I get goldâŚZinâanthid, Flask, Potions sellâŚI donât get gold.
yeah, really messing up that alchemist lifeâŚ
So is this still being fixed or whatever? or should i stop wasting my time and gold selling consumables on the AH now that im up in the hundreds of thousands(perhaps a million) gold missing since this patch?
I just want to know so i donât keep selling stuff to be told in 3 weeks âwhoops yeah sorry, its nbd though right you can make moreâ
Sorry, but from their initial response to this, I believe we feel the following:
- Blizzard Understood the root cause of the issue.
- That a fix was a few days away
- That the note in the hot fix would prevent further occurrences.
So far, none of these 3 points are valid. In-Game economy has real ramifications.
Also, I think peoples faith in Blizzardâs ability to remedy this in a timely fashion is being put to the test.
To that end, I think many people are really beginning to worry that the transactions are actually lost.
What many of us would like is a status update. For good or ill, additional information. Right now we only have their âwordâ on this, and they have been able to resolve most of the other bugs so far (Loot drops from Visions, spawn rates for new quests, etc).
This however has seen zero progress.
Also the worry is that with the new raid opening up this week, attention will be focused on ensuring that roles out smooth. If the rest of this patch has been any indication, there are going to be some late nights for Blizzard. They donât want to impact Mythic World First race, thatâs a lot of eyeballs on their product.
So they need to make sure the raid is tuned up for Mythic next week; that is less bandwidth for all other issues, this one included.
Communication will help restore a little faith.
