Seriously, OP. It’s like PvP. If you’re a casual going up against a full-time PvPer, you will lose. The only question is how fast, and how many of your teammates he’ll kill alongside you.
Likewise, a hardcore AH’er is just better at it than you, with both better legal tools and better skills. As well as more committment to winning.
I never said that so I have no idea what your point is.
This makes no sense. When I see this:
Copper bar: 10g
Copper bar: 9g 99s 99cp
Copper bar: 9g 99s 98cp
Copper bar: 9g 99s 97cp
etc. etc., that is pricing pvp. I’m buying the stack for 10g even. Piss on those other people and they’re “discounts.”
I did it with blood stained bone early in BFA.
just flipping I made 700k in like four days.
Id drop a low priced single, someone would list hundreds of them at that low price, not actually CHECKING to see what the actual average price is…I’d snag theirs up real quick for 15gold each and relist at 60g.
Id wake up the next morning, for some reason they sold better at night here, and be 200k or so richer.
but then my wife took my gold and bought mounts with it
When I see an undercut by 1 copper, I just buy the higher priced one. I can afford the penny to give a finger to cheap undercutters. If you’re going to undercut, make it worth the buyer’s time!
You have to earn the maps by doing Islands, but if you’re doing them for the big chunk of AP from the weekly, you’ll have them incidentally. Especially if you’re doing the IE weekly on multiple characters.
heh…you shoulda seen this joker who was trying to outsmart me with netherweave bags.
I had a bunch of them listed at 40g and bought the lower priced ones up.
So he lists more cheap, I buy them and Im still low price at 40.
We did this like 10 times, then he finally has no mats to make any more bags.
He was so irritated that I was able to sell them even at 40g. that this guy literally starts buying mine at 40 gold …the SAME bags he had sold me for 12g.
it was so crazy that by the time it was all said and done I had made like 5000 off this guy.
ah…i think I see. Ihate IEs so probably wont do much of that.
the mission tables were killing me. a dozen characters pulling in 1500 gold a day for doing pretty much nothing. Just seems criminal
Putting the gold-faucet missions on items you have to earn by playing the game was a smart idea, but I’d rather they removed mission tables altogether, and just did something like make Mechagon dailies worth a lot more gold to compensate.
Using AH addons should have been banned ages ago. Talk about giving someone an advantage by using third party software… It’s long been a big disappointment to me that Blizzard has allowed people to manipulate the AH using programs that are outside the basic AH tool kit that wow comes with.
I’m still trying to figure out why some sellers post thousands of auctions at prices way above everyone else. One toon has 3200 auctions up which is #1 for my realm. The guy must spend a fortune in deposit fees which would rarely ever be recovered.
