I was listing trinkets from a inscription profession, no matter the time of day, 5 other bots all list one cent lower.
I can list the item 6 times in a row, and always one cent lower from 5 to 10 other bots, depending on the scrips programing. When I remove all listing, price goes back the a supper high cost. Only way to sell item is at a loss.
If no one can sell items why list items? then the bot will post the only few listings at a huge profit for them and a rip off for the buyer.

If by “at a loss” you mean you could make more by selling the raw mats on the AH, then that’s been an issue all expansion for Alchemy. Not surprising it’s also an issue for others.

Bots are less of an annoyance than ignorant babies who dont know how to use their ah addon and end up undercutting by 100k because their addon using multi server prices instead of their own server prices.
Now these people are the worst

Why would 1, 2 or 3 players watch the same listing 24/7? and refresh every 15 to 60 seconds?
Curious how the new AH changes will affect this. Do you think it’s likely to stop auto bots or make it easier because we can easily buy multiple quantities of items (easier) now?

If I’m selling something that goes for more than a few thousand, chances are I’m undercutting by minimum 20% because I’m looking to sell ASAP rather than getting into an undercutting battle that requires me to pay attention to the listing and end up selling it 3 days later at probably the same 20% figure anyway.

Nah, i can understand wanting to sell something quick, mostly referring to stuff that dont sell that fast in general like pets or highly competitive stuff like insc trinkets.
For example the vaultbot pet being 150k on my server, yet someone decides to put it at 46.845gold which is awfully specific number and most likely balanced around multi server price.
And when it comes to competitive stuff like insc trinkets there’s no point undercutting by 1-2k, that wont make them sell fast, usually it ll just make everyone reduce their prices because such stuff are checked often, i literally check every couple hours, delist them when undercut and list them again since they can sell fast so it is less about price and more about who listed them last.

they are using a third party program to do this. also known as cheating. your ignorance in this post is honestly suspicious of a botter him self.

My issue: the bots who buy out every single gem and then attempt to sell the 50g haste gems for 250,000g.
Go to bleeding hollow and see listings, the inscription trinkets, lvl 400. this week it is Vjuh, is always on, like 24/7, but there are like 10 names that all seem to be watching the AH, and very close attention to just them 4 trinkets.
It is so well programed, I think it could even be blizzard, to sell more game tokens for in game gold.
It seems like when at the busy times all the same names act like they compete, seems well programed by one person, as, maybe they have rotations, not sure. but when I was posting 6 to 8 trinkets by 3 different guys, they would bury my item listing 5 to 7 spaces out of the lowest price, always the same names.
I also do not say all 100% of items are effected, or the timing may not be set in ways, so, to not attract attention.
I pulled all my items for 24 hours. as I was moving a alt to a new server.
The other day, I had like 6 to 8 of the same items listed by 3 of my alts, always 50 to 500 gold lower then the copper creeps. I got down to under 2000.00. No profit or worth the hassle.
I have 8 lvl 120 plyers all with 469 AP and 2 with 471 AP, I sent the trinkets to like 5 of my guys, I also I also moved 4 of my guys in the last 2 weeks to warsong, with 35 trinkets, same problem.
I was trying to drive their cost down so low, they could not make a profit, but it was me losing time and investments.
Today, I saw only 2 listings on each of the 3 trinkets out of the 4 different trinkets, so what happened to all them competitors? 3 out of the 4 trinket only have 2 listings each, and the other trinket had many competitors and a long list of under cutting, the cost was at 2000.00 or under, so, I did not list on that auction.
So this morning, 2:15 AM. I list 3 items of the 4 different trinket makes, with in 30, 60 to 90 seconds all 3 had a 1 copper lower cost.
I only had a set of the 4 trinkets on a alt, So I pull the items off (cancel listing) I had it for 5,000 / 6,000 buy out. Vjuh listing was like 12,000.00. when I first listed today.
When I went to relist at 4000.00 / 5000.00, All 3 items of Vjuh’s where removed and the cost was at 12,000.00 again before I could list my trinkets back up. I list again and the same thing.
its funny when i see an item selling for 100k then my addon shows me the same thing for 50g. It is also weird that theres only 1 character on my server selling those green corehound mounts, he has 100’s up in the AH.
Oh god I hate this so much. I wanna make potions with my spare mats because Im getting punished for selling low quantity mats but I cant do that cause Ill just make a loss on the potion vs selling the mats. But I dont have 200 of each mat either so I just sit here with odd number of mats waiting till I finally got a full stack.
May want to remove the other. Unless of course you actually are a bot complaining about the other bots.

They probably aren’t bots, they are just people who play on multiple accounts and scan and repost things like that all day long.
You know this site shows when ppl post things. If there was a bot involved there would be postings in every single time slot every day.

I have a lot of guys (characters) and I can make lots of profession items.
I find it takes a lot of time to watch all my items.
I can not play the game and keep 50 to 100 items listed at all time and then watch to always under cut the next lower listings. and to do it with the same guy and under cut in less then a minute = unbelievable…
I can not even keep track of 25 items at all times.
