Auction house is dead to me now

Yeah this really sucks… But people are so excited about it.

Not the entire game. It’s still regional. So if you’re in the america’s you’ll see those all posted. It’s all one big market now.

People who play the AH for gold making aren’t happy, but that’s life. Not everyone will always be happy about everything. Us casual folks who don’t spend every waking moment trying to get rich in wow can now actually afford to play the game. Hoorah.

Dang, I just logged in threw a bunch of random stuff on AH from current and previous expansions and made 90k. My combined five realm server usually has less than 30 people on during the day. Prime time it creeps over 50.

meh…i farm whatever I can sell. Mogs, pets, mats…whatever I can make gold off of.
If something aint selling…or selling for much, I move on to something else. Not that big a deal.

Yeah I was watching the flasks of power gradually reduce in price over 30 minutes. 1 silver at a time. You could see the resellers buying and relisting but they would immediately get undercut. I’m curious how low it’ll end up going, or if the AH manipulators will figure out a way to gouge the whole community. Blizzard needs to break AH addons TBH.

One of the neat things about this change is that there are items that only a few people in the world care about and most realms didn’t have much of them on the AH because they were from old content, etc. Previously I could buy out my realm’s supply of roguestone and still not really have enough to last long. (I use them for scrying roguestones, which allow non-shamans to use Far Sight)

Working as intended. Ya gotta get a token now for gold.

I would suggest waiting for a while to see what prices do :+1: Though I will be in that boat with you  I’ll probably still gather as it offers good xp but if the value of the items is trash now going forward then I won’t auction mats anymore and I’ll just vendor them.

that or just restrict the delisting part. Thats what I abused the most when I was playing the AH monster, lol. Course, they’ll acuse you of being a bot if you do it all day long lol

I hope, and this is mostly big hope, that the idea is you can earn enough gold playing the game to afford anything you need on the AH. The price inflation requiring you to NEED to buy tokens was due to resellers, boosters, etc. The hoarders and greedy ones gouging is why prices were so high.

Mats and consumables. No gear or other items.

I’m fine with that, I have enough disposable income a month to have a few tokens as a regular purchase

Blizzard should drop potion recipes to pre-Legion levels, back before we needed 5 flowers per potion.

Is it just mats and consumables? That’s fine since it’s all I ever buy on the AH anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

Lol I bought these items and sell to NPC . I do this on ffxiv too! Some people just want to undercut everyone they ended losing money.

Im on a large server we saw a 90% price crash on most goods.
