Garrosh really wasn’t “bigoted” in any sense until the Cataclysm prepatch. He’s still willing to overlook that bigotry well into MoP all the way until the Darkspear Rebellion.
The Warsong Hold quest text isn’t race-based, it’s determined by whether or not one is Exalted with the Mag’har before showing up.
It’s called Warcraft for a reason, and honestly I think it needs to get back to it’s core. If it’s too much for you, you’re more than welcome to stop playing anytime and go play Final Fantasy because that’ seems to be more of your taste of rainbows and butterflies.
Maybe Theramore shouldn’t have been an active participant in a war started by the Alliance, and funelling troops to the theater where the Alliance broke the ceasefire and reignited the war?
I’m not saying Garrosh was a good guy, but yeah emo waifu’s crimes going back to vanilla are far more numerous and monstrous. You have to compare her to people like Arthas and the old Horde to find similar levels of outright evil.
Why do we keep talking about war crimes in the context of the real world? There is nothing in WoW that’s a war crime. Nuking Theramore sounds more strategic than anything and was well worth the action.
Anti-Human sure, anti-Alliance more generally. But again, this is canonically after Garrosh comes to the realization that the Horde is totally economically dependent upon the Alliance, who have been encroaching into Horde territory for years and allow their own extremists to hijack negotiated trade caravans with no repercussions.
And that really comes to the fore and starts impacting Horde-Alliance relations once Varian declares war on the Horde.
I only skimmed through the list, but it’s not mine. The main point was just to show what she’s done and how completely differently she’s being treated compared to Garrosh.
It’s a mental issue that needs to be addressed in the gaming community…some people become so eloped with the game/pixels that it becomes their reality in order to escape the real world so much so that they try to shape it to fit their wants and needs because they’re clearly missing something on the outside, so they use this as an excuse to fill that void.
You mean since Shadowlands. Pinning every major event on the Jailer was lazy writing, and then having the gall the say he was doing it because there’s something worse out there? This is like a bad shonen story.
The focus on elves is killing the game. I don’t care about Alleria or her family. For something called “The Worldsoul Saga”, at least 2/3 of the trilogy has been “Alleria and her emotional baggage”.
Agreed. I stopped caring after BFA. It had good cinematics, but a horrid story overall. It has only gotten worse since.
Maybe if Microsoft fires all the people currently creating wow and brings in some guys who actually give a sht about it I might care again, but chances are slim.
I think it was still salvageable at the end of Legion. If they had went from there straight into the World Soul Saga the things we are doing now would make a lot more sense. And if they had kept the Light vs Void fight about Anduin instead of making it the Temu emo elf show.
Throwing that awful faction conflict in after the end of Legion was just a mind boggling stupid decision. Then SL’s, I am so glad I missed that.
What are you even talking about? You’re repeating this constantly, but it’s not even true.
Garrosh was the one who wanted to conquer all of Kalimdor and kick the Nightelves out of their lands, so the Alliance got there to establish a military line. Theramore just helped with that, especially after the Horde started an invasion into Ashenvale.
Also.. there hasn’t been a ceasefire.
