In the 80s we had the luxury of theorizing about climate endgame and " worst case scenarios". Now were are staring them in the face. Unfortunately the climate changed,as in past tense, and changing it back is not an option. “Climate endgame” is the term science has coined to officially petition govts to start making plans for worst case scenarios.
Its already over the whole planet has risen multiple degrees. If we continue this path itll be the great water wars of 2050.

Climate Endgame eh? Is that their fancy word for their futile struggle against the cyclical ice age thats coming eventually anyway. They would be better served by developing ways for the human species to live by moving the coastal populations inland, developing geothermal sources of energy and heat cause our future is not in global warming, but in the frigid wastes of the inevitable.

Ever heard of desalination? The vast majority of the planet’s surface is covered in water, and the vast majority of the planet’s population lives nears the coast.
As human technology and knowledge advances, the cost to produce energy will continue to decrease, and so will the cost of producing clean water. The cost of nuclear power today would be cheaper than fossil fuels if technological progress hadn’t been stifled (and in many cases reversed) by decades of fear-mongering and lobbying.
