once again many people here prove that all they really want is high ilvl gear for logging in. it doesn’t matter what the rewards are or how easy they are to get. if it’s not mythic loot and it requires them to do anything other than walk to a mailbox, it’s bad.

Its the level of entitlement rather than the sense. Are you entitled to content? Of course you are. But to complain about a very light feature, part of a .5 patch, just to give people something to do in between doing the more serious stuff, seems excessive to me.
It’s a bit light complaining about pet battles and collecting. Its light work within the game that you can choose to do if you find it fun. Ultimately, fun is what it’s all about when playing a game.

personally, the 376 ilvl my main hunter has gotten to with world content of various sorts actually feels a little too powerful for the content Im doing.

Took me 3 hours of doing my usual gameplay (mog runs, hunts etc) plus a few side things like ressing and /loving and I was done.
Got some neat new cosmetics and a mount.

I do not run any. I find them nauseating. I don’t run dungeons, period, unless absolutely necessary to complete a questline and check off a zone achievement.
There are quite a bit of other things on the list I can easily do, though, so whatever, no big deal.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh excuse me. The casuals are loving the Trading Post stuff, I can log in and do World Quests and pet battles and retro transmog runs and do emotes at things and it gives me progress to a fancy mount and neat cosmetics and a battle pet? Sign me the heck up.

Similar feels. Had the steed from the shop already. Bought pet. All cosmetics just look bad and I wont bother.
